Now let’s all bow down to America for allowing Europe to have free medical healthcare.Damn Europeans expecting their tax money to take care of them. What idiots.

Well Europeans themselves admit their defense is shitty. You have your priorities. We have ours.

Problem is Europe gets America to pick up the tab for things like defense while spending that money on Healthcare.

Maybe the European taxpayer can ask their governments to stop relying on America and do some fancy budgeting so they can do ALL of it themselves? Healthcare, free college, free everything, AND defense?

Sad part is U.S. doesn't have to spend so much (617 billion base + budget for wars) on defending the U.S. The military industrial complex makes money off it, so government keeps agreeing to go to Europe and to other places around the world. The average American ain't so cool on sending their sons and daughters to die in far off lands so businesses can benefit and Europeans can crow about their healthcare.

And yeah, citizens are entitled to vote in the policy they want. American voters do not appear to want Denmark. For all the Twitter griping, hardly any of them try to move. OTOH, a survey says two-thirds of the world would move to America with its cheap gas and expensive Healthcare. So what does that say about what the recipients of said cheap Healthcare think?

Easy to mock the preference for freedom rather than cradle-to-grave nannyism, but I might also remind you there is more innovation happening in certain zip codes in the U.S. than in entire Europe. It's because of said freedoms. 😊 And the world benefits.

So why not be happy with what you have instead of mocking citizens of some other nation for their preferences? It takes all kinds. World wouldn't have defeated Hitler without American cowboy attitude. World needs Japanese discipline as well. We don't all need to be socialists. If that's what floats your boat, you vote it in and let Americans be.

What is with you always defending the broken American health care system, American military industrial complex, American war criminals?! Kaha se aati hain itni shakti?

@Chameli😆 People have their preferences on what kind of policy they want. They're not obligated to vote the way you want.

And I'm not defending as much much as mocking those who're subsidized by American taxpayer money and claim they're taking care of themselves. They're essentially taking charity forced out of citizens of another country (not altruism) and mocking the people giving the cash for not spending it on themselves. The audacity is something else, man.😆

If corrupt businesses and politicians spent the taxes on Americans instead of sending the cash oustide, we probably could cover a lot more.

It ain't Healthcare that's broken. It's the government who's permitting freeloading by equally rich countries so businesses can make money.

No-one is forcing America to do anything. Not like your 100,000 US troops in Europe are doing such a great job of keeping Putin at bay. Hate to break it to you but many many European countries already provide both free healthcare and free college - Germany, Denmark and Poland for starters. Last I checked, Germany had one of the highest trade surplus’ in the world - guess you really can have it all. Just not in America. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't think you're getting it. Or you're deliberately not getting it.

Europe has money for free Healthcare and free college because they don't spend enough on defense.

Europe can afford not to spend money on Healthcare because they expect America to defend them. The leaders themselves admit it.

And it's not just those 100k troops. It's the 1.5 million strong U.S. military. Might also want to look up how many Americans died defending Europe versus how many Europeans died defending America.

No, Americans don't particularly want to do it at this point in history, but they do it because corrupt peeps in government and military and business make money off said American blood and taxes spent elsewhere.

Europe also price caps medicines

They're able to do it because America doesn't so drug companies can make up losses there.

Europe has high taxes to provide those things. And governments decide what citizens can do.

Americans prefer freedom. Hence they vote in freedom whenever possible. You can be wards of state. We prefer to be stand on our own 2 feet.

And yes, innovation. It's a thing. It doesn't flourish where government decides what you can do for how much.

And I don’t think you get it because you’ve simplified this far too much. I mean you genuinely believe free healthcare exists in so many parts of Europe because of America. It ain’t free healthcare when you’re paying so much in taxes for it. SMH. I mean who quantifies the justifiable amount to spend on defense? You? Your 100k troops are protecting Europe from its enemies?

America not price capping and exploiting its own citizens isn’t a problem the rest of the world care about I’m afraid. It’s a freedom American voters have voted for after all, right? The right to have the highest drug prices in the world.
