But i was fine with it. The makers are threading cautiously, because #MaAn love story is loved by all. And unfortunately Anu is being portrayed as one who has a lot of traditional beliefs.. so if they show OTT romance before marriage, it could cause the traditional audience to revolt which essentially is their trp audience.

I'm sure Anuj would be more than willing to cross all boundaries, but the character of Anuj respects his Anu and her consent and the scene that was edited might have been bordering a little bit towards Anuj taking the lead rather than consent of Anu. Till date whatever growth in romance has been shown, has been mostly from Anu's side and not Anuj.

They are raising the flame slowly. I enjoy the slow burn romance. Especially because it leaves you craving for more. That is MaAn romance. It's different.

When comparing to the other teenage jodi of the same production house, i find it so OTT, that everytime they fall in each other's arms. Nothing left to desire anymore.

I'm myself a slow-burn romance lover and even a writer of the same. So, I get this.

Also, whenever they cut out any moment, they present it in a better way later!

I also agree to the point that they have different sets of audiences to address. While we the new-gen online viewers are eager for more proximity and would be fine with more of them, this might not resonate with the traditional belief keeping viewers which are their actual target audience. They'll have to be slowly and steadily pulled into it and made themselves comfortable in watching Anu romancing.

Just like the case with 'O Anupammaaa'

It was not accepted in a first attempt by any of us, but lslowly it grew over us. Same is the case.

Also, when we have actors like Rups and Gaurav, we should be least worried about the romance part! We'll mostly be at the receiving end of more!

Exactly! And that worked like a magic potion in their romance scenes!

Rupali was lacking earlier, made it even more awkward than the script intended to. And look at now!! We could literally feel Anu's love and excitement just by Rupali's smile.

I truly resonate with this!

I usually watch some scenes on repeat few times focusing just on Gaurav then just on Rupali then them together as MaAn. Initially, I never used to bother focussing more on Rupali. My eyes used to be on Gaurav only.
