Chapter 20

The next two days were crazy for the Walia family members…. It was just full of hustle and bustle waiting the moment were Bani and Jai would go together to the famous fashion party.
Bani was in her room looking at the dress and the stuff that had been laid out on her bed, she was looking at her dress and accessories when she realized that her Jewellery was missing. She realized that she had left them in Jai's Safe in the Study room.
"Uff I have to go to Jai's room…"
She proceded to go to Jai's room and she didn't know why but the thought of been in the room they once shared made her a tad bit nervous.
She knocked on his door and all she heard was a strong commanding "Come In"… Yeah that was her JAI strong and commanding and she loved him to death… WOOOOO where did that thought come from???…Bani thought…
She went in and saw him working on his laptop… "Tony pls leave it on the Bed"
"Jai do I look like Tony?"… Jai looked and was shocked to see her dressed in faded jeans and a very short top that showed quite a bit of her midriff.
"Bani….mmm….mmmm…." he was tongue tied… she looked beautiful her hair was let down….. "Sorry Bani… I mean I was thinking it was Tony…he has taken my Tuxedo to iron and I thought he was getting it back"
"Its ok Jai… I just came because I wanted to ask you if you could open the Safe in the study room…I need my Jewellery"
"Sure… come"
Jai got up and left his laptop on the bed and left the room leaving Bani to follow him….

Once in the Study Jai got the safe opened and gave her all her jewellery, Bani chose what she wanted and kept everything back. She and Jai were walking towards her room when Tony announced that Mr. Verma was here to see Bani (Remember Mr. Verma is the head of the Singhania Office in Mumbai).
Both of them headed down and Bani as usual realized that everyone of the Walias including roshni and pia were seating in the hall and were looking at her intently!
Roshni as usual started her bickering…

"Arre I didn't know that once being a Walia you could wear such clothes? R u trying to impress him are u Bani?" Bani for a moment felt like hitting her hard on her b*tt! But instead she smiled and said " I don't think I have to impress him dear Roshni… He is already Impressed… Infact the one who should try harder to get his attention is you…. It seems you've lost in that department… accept it Roshni maybe you are not women enough for him…. ohh and about the clothes, I wear what I like and keep one thing in mind I WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE JAI WALIA'S FIRST AND ONLY WIFE." The whole family was shocked and at the same time happy, they could finally see some hope in Jai and Bani's relationship.
Jai was happy beyond words… he loved her so much and he couldn't wait to tell her but he had to gain her trust and he would work on that first thing Monday morning while they were at the office.

Bani turned to Mr. Verma. "Hello Mr. Verma what can I do for you?"
"Ms Singhania I just came to give you this" he hands her a blue jewellery box which likes quite heavy and big.
"Ohh I cant believe this…. Did my father send me this box?"
"Yes Ms. He sent it this morning with strict orders for it to be given straight in your hands"
"Well thank you" and Mr. Verma leaves bidding good bye to everybody.
Bani opens the box and tears start going down her cheeks… It was her mothers Diamond encrusted Tiara!
Jai came towards her and she said " This was my mothers, my dadi gave it to her when she and my father married… its been in my family for many generations and dad today felt that I should have it! And I feel so honoured!"
Ohhh the witches were so jealous… Pia was just trying to look at it but Bani being Bani didn't want her to see it!
Bani headed back to her room and started to get ready….. she had to look good for him, she wanted him to be proud of being with her.

Hours passed and everybody was waiting at the bottom of the stairs for Bani… Jai was wearing an amazing Armani Tuxedo and looked dashing….as always. Anu was constantly chatting and everybody was getting impatient as they wanted to see Bani…. A while later Anu looked up and gave a loud gasp and every one of the Walias's and ofcourse the 2 other witches followed her gaze.

AND THERE SHE WAS…. THE ONE AND ONLY LADY BANISHIKA SINGHANIA IN A BEAUTIFUL CAROLINA HERRERA BLACK GOWN.

Jai couldn't stop looking at her…. He couldn't believe that the beautifull woman standing there looking at him…. Was the same simple girl he knew…. She looked beautiful and just a princess out of a fairy tale…. And she was his…. Actually she WOULD be his… and what Jai Walia wanted, Jai Walia Got!!!

I loved Bani's reply to that witch Roshini.. 😆 😆 ...looks like someone is not able to keep their eyes off Bani 😳 😳..Jai ke tho hosh hee ud gaye seeing Bani in the black gown...
Lookign forward to the function now..lets see what Jai does to gain her trust..Great part dear
