Yes harsh loves his son to no bounds, yes he doesn’t like ak cause she messed up things for abhi by going on mute mode but he didn’t agree for arohi initially because he thought abhi loved her. He agreed because her wavelength was same as his (pr zindabad, achha hospital bade clients se chalta hai, samaj seva achievement baat hai but uske liye bahut paise chahiye) and he wanted a career oriented, preferably doctor bahu for his son and didnt want another manjeri in Abhi’s life. Even I want to believe Harsh loves his son..I am not able to because he has never shown anything doing from his side for his son. What Abhi likes, What abhi wants never. Harsh wants him to wear his chasma and dance on his tune..

I am still yet to be convinced that he loves his son. I don't see any action that is directed as care for his son.

Harsh is still selfish to use his son's life for his business and prestige.

For now how ever we turn papa birla is scared of akshu snatching his son away from him and not pleased with akshu as his son fell off the stairs because of her.

Yes the dialogues gave him are his real nature..we can never change their mindset anytime. Manish told that your father family wants Ar and hate Ak..that's right..manjari wanted to pacify her relationship with Harsh by getting Doctor bahu. She told meri Bahu aake humara rista sambhalegi, mujhe doctor bahu chahiye apni Abhi ke liye. In a way she too was desparate for Ar. But she sided Abhi when Abhira are together. Harsh's wishes affect Manjari and Manjari's to Abhi.

Manjari because of some ehsaan, Harsh must have done to her, she wants to sacrifice her son's happiness. She was acting such blind during Aarohi-Abhi track that despite knowing her son is not happy, his breaking inside..She still continued. She just wanted to accomplished Harsh wish anyhow. So she put blinds on both sides. Thats why I don't like Manjari. She wants to get rid of her guilt or whatever it is to Harsh on name of his son's only happiness Akshu.

Harsh and Manjari are same selfish but in different way.

Ak's love is selfless and pure. No matter how much people hates her for her family jaap but one needs to understand deeply that this girl was raised without parents love. Mahima rightly pointed - kids without parents kitne bigad jate hai but Ak is not like that. She values family.

Forum mein kitna bhi log AK ke family jaap se dukhi hai 😆 but they are the same wants everyone to join the marriage and have fun filled marriage ...How contrast it is!!!

Plus ladki ko sasural se pehle apne ghar je lene do..phir puri zindagi sasural ka hokar hi rehna hai, in other words she will stand by Abhi no matter what.

Abhi ne marriage se pehla Papad bele hai, akshu marriage ke baad papad belegi 😆

We need to observe the subtle expressions on Papa birla to realize his emotions,, his fear, his jealousy, his pride, his happiness can be easily seen.. Most of his actions pertaining to Abhi is to keep him closer to him and get his acceptance. Moreover. his grudge and aggressiveness which i dont agree to, for Manjeri matha is due to the fact that according to his perception she has done nothing to improvise the relationship between father and son.

He was genuinely concerned for Abhi after the tilak 1 fiasco and unable to handle his sorrow asked Abhi to make Akshara confess and he will be the first person to take shagun and accept the alliance.. But Abhi failed, Akshara rejected him in front of his entire family.. So obviously any father would feel hurt and angered on behalf of his son. Then the misunderstandings kept on piling up riling up the wrath of Harsh as well.. Since his rage and emotions regarding akshara is not of one day, similarly to erase his negativtiy towards ak and accept her as daughter in law and daughter would too consume much time and we need to patiently for it.. Until then its full sarcasm and thod phod and Akshara will at the receiving end of it..

If he wants acceptance and love from his son, then he needs to start caring directly or indirectly by contributing to his son's happiness. I am sure if Harsh shows even little interest, Abhi will too respond. if he won't then he will forever be in waiting list for his son's love and acceptance.

I feel Harsh does love his son. He has not paid attention to abhi’s love for ak because he feels that since he(harsh) doesn’t like Manjari and doesn’t think of her as a suitable life partner with harsh being a hot shot pr guy in a prestigious hospital and Manjari just housewife. so he thinks same way in long term even abhi will not like ak as Abhi is hot shot doctor and ak is like Manjari (we as audience know ak is not like Manjari but harsh doesn’t know that yet) and he doesn’t even consider ak’s music as profession. So he feels that abhi is not getting a good match suited for his caliber and success. That’s the whole reason why harsh wanted doctor bahu with high aspirations. What he is failing to understand is that abhi could not care less about all these. He is just looking for love and peace. And he found that connect in ak.
