What really struck me with this episode is the very obvious differences in both household.

The other household resembled a slow gathering of dark thunderclouds to set of the almighty storm of all.

Goenka's are celebrating their Akshu's new rishtaa.

Birla Adults are shown as a tempest in gathering.

I personally did not like the Goenka's short sightedness but can understand why they were like that. They had badly messed up and this was their way of making up but still it's shocking how they totally ignored the Birla's emotion is this. There is an argument for saying they went with the flow of emotions but this will be a big source of problem later on.

For once I feel for Harsh. He has been totally sidelined as the father of the groom. We all laugh at him but look beyond his acidic words - funny as they are - and you will see everything is about him not being in sync with Abhi's life, not knowing what is happening, that others are getting more priority than he is. That is why he is against akshu...she has so much power over his son that it scares him. Again a true to parent reaction.

HIs fear and jealousy over how much the Goenka's have taken over his son is revealed in his words about Manish secretly coming and doing jaadu tona....

Harsh is the only fly in the ointment to this wedding now.

Totally agree with you.

Harsh can be the most mean person in the universe but we can't neglect the fact that he loves abhi so much.

He was so happy when he came to know his son loves a girl and he was very much joyous over it.

Then came the tilak confusion if only akshu had opened her mouth that day. Things would have end their.

Then again akshu came and rejected abhi in front of all and as a father who had seen his son always be angry and in thod phod moment for the first time saw his son cry that too falling off the stairs. That made to rile up his anger on the person who hurt his son. The things that followed only added fuel to his fire.

As much as manish didn't trust an idhar udhar here harsh doesn't trust this mute girl.

Abhi took everyone blessing in that house maybe he should have gotten his father's blessing too but no he goes around telling his wedding acceptance to all and his father is standing on the side along with the vases on display. Of course he is bound to go in his thod phod moment. First manish comes and talks and he doesn't know what it was no he comes to know the wedding acceptance. Then his son tells him the worst ever thing that he is not invited.

Poor papa birla everyone together messed his head and threw him away.

Vinay jain did the best job in portraying all of harsh emotions today. He was purely shocked seeing abhi like that.

He already has to stand in a queue for his son's love and worst is he is in waiting list for years now. Added to the line is one more person. Papa birla is simply jealous.

Maybe he can't accept akshu whole heartedly but he needs to come to a common ground and accept the fact abhi is going to marry akshu only.

Absolutely true. Even I feel for this man who is just craving for his son's love and acceptance. I can understand his possessiveness and his grudge against his wife and his insecurity towards Akshara and the whole Goenka clan. Any normal parent for sure would feel that jealousy. Moreover, he is not even addressed properly by his son or given due respect whereas Abhis emotions regarding Akshara and her family is on public display with the hugs and the closeness. His biggest scare in his life is of losing his son and hence his aggressiveness towards Manjeri and Goenkas..

I really wonder what mistakes he must have done in his past life that has led to this dynamics in his family and he is trying to protect his family in keeping them together by hook or crook. Resorting to all sorts of means in being close to his son. But wonder how long can he keep this boat sailing with the coming tornado..

Life sometimes takes you to the lowest point and forces you to face the situation which you are always scared off the most.. Life simply throws that right onto your face in the least predictable moment and you are forced to face it and have no means to escape the consequences. But how we deal with it and how we move ahead with it is in our hands..

So I presume Bade papa too is in for more than a roller coaster ride here and how he handles this and manages the future complicated shattering situations needs to be seen..

Akshu is their to burst abhi bubbles with her family jaap. Its aarohi first now family tomorrow let's see. And we will hate all of akshu jaap untilled it is about abhi's jaap. Where she does dholare dholare behind him., 💃💃🙈🙈

I know all think ak as navie but today when akshu made aarohi sit on the lap it felt more like keep your enemies closer moment. Her jealousy was pacified when ak asked are you fine. So I guess akshu need to put a reminder on her phone and sent a message to aarohi every one's in a while asking is she fine. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Harsh must have done some big kaand in the past that Abhi is hating him this much since childhood.

Plus today Abhi was truly happy that he got his love and approval from girl's family. He offered mithai to him but Papa Birla blasted him with name calling to Akshu - Bekar, Badtar, Jadugarni...Dhoom machale...

Of course it won't go well with Abhi. Abhi did specify him - as you took the liberty at hospital...here also i took the same liberty.

If Papa Birla truly loves his son then, from tilak fiasco #1 up to now, he could have read his son's heart and mind and happiness belongs to only Akshu. He will cooperate. He also very well knows that his son hates him when he is torturing Manjari. So he never corrected himself to be in his good books. Ulta he expects his son to listen to him. Papa Birla wants to keep his ego and don't want to show his love too.

He knows his son is not going anywhere without his mom. To me, he is upset because Manjari mata hide things from him despite asking her.

Yes harsh loves his son to no bounds, yes he doesn’t like ak cause she messed up things for abhi by going on mute mode but he didn’t agree for arohi initially because he thought abhi loved her. He agreed because her wavelength was same as his (pr zindabad, achha hospital bade clients se chalta hai, samaj seva achievement baat hai but uske liye bahut paise chahiye) and he wanted a career oriented, preferably doctor bahu for his son and didnt want another manjeri in Abhi’s life. Remember his dialogue after he had seen arohi treating vip patient, “yeh manjari jaisi nahi hai.. ise life mein aage badhna hai. perfect Birla bahu.”

These days I look forward to Papa Birla's appearances... Vinay jain very convincingly looks like a proud and possessive father.. I could not look at abhimanyu for a sec when harsh was on fire... he's got strong screen presence... samajh nahi aaya Papa bete jaisa hai ya beta papa jaisa ? He was like beta you break chairs only ? look I'll show you how it's done 🤣🤣
