Would like to share some of the observations:
1. Sameer Rathore the erstwhile ETF Chief always addresses or refers contributions as "Hum dhoondh lenge, Hamein pakadna hoga, ETF case solve karega" etc. basically collectively, sharing responsibilities and credits whereas Arjun Rawte says "Mujhse bach nahin payega, Main pakad loonga, Meri giraft se bach nahin payega" etc.
This was probably to show the contrasts in their personalities where Sameer was a team player and a leader while Arjun was the lone wolf. It was only later that the wolf started working with the pack 😀.
2. They have stuck to protocols and am glad they have.
Although Arjun has tendencies to work independently, he did respect standard operating procedures (atleast in public). Like in the event of an investigation or interrogation the necessary protocols are shown to be followed like the Chief and/or senior members take the seat, preliminary investigations done by the team and shared with seniors. (Although I have never understood why Arjun used to only take one glove. He used to use gloves on both hands, somewhere midway, he started using gloves only on one hand 🤔).
3. The contrasts in what Riya and Ayesha meant to the team.
Riya was the darling of the team and treated delicately (may be pampered). She always took the seat with the chief and was guarded.
Ayesha on the other hand was one among the boys. She always stood behind her boss and jumped at every opportunity to give her contribution.
4. Sameer probably had an aptitude for technology and Arjun (atleast initially) was shown having an aptitude for forensics (of course he was shown to be a know-it-ALL). Instances being Sameer chiding Shree over the polygraph machine, reminding Shree to use the face recognition software to find the suspect from the database and Arjun explaining chemical reactions, angle of assault. Which is probably why Rathod was often teamed with Chotu amd Arjun with Shree.
5. We have already spoken about colour co-ordination. From Arjun-Sameer being colour co-ordinated to later Sameer-Ayesha being colour co-ordinated.
What are you observations, people?
You clearly have great detective skills. Maybe forum's Arjun 😂😂 . Though on a serious note, everything aside this show still has so much to give given it ever comes back. Each of it's characters had so much potential. They started it off very well and I am still in love with the first episode but somewhere in the way they lost the charm.
Starting from Sameer, many see him as an irritating component. But as you have mentioned, he was a leader and he behaved as such. Somewhere while showcasing Arjun as a supercop, they failed to notice how it was affecting the chief's character. Also his equation with Ayesha wasn't utilised properly. The way they showed it at first, I got a hint that Ayesha was a girl for him not because of her beauty rather attitude. She was his equal. They made her character look more of a girly attitude just so that she could be one of the fl. I really don't understand why does the fl needs to be a damsel in distress. For Arjun, I guess I can never overcome Ariya. For me, Riya was and still is the perfect match for him. Not that I don't like Arni. Arni for me were more like a fairytale couple. I mean, the way they portrayed Roshni, it was more like she was an angel. To good to be true. To good to be Arjun's partner. Yet I can't help but adore them. Riya on the other hand had her flaws. She was young and naive. Yet when required she became the best person to talk to. She was ever ready learner. Always asking questions, demanding answers. One of the things I like about Ariya is this. There question answer sessions. I really loved how they had their own language. Though according to the show it wasn't like they loved each other, there was something beautiful. Something serene. If only they would have been given a chance, they would have definitely done so much. Then comes Sakshi. Well I can't say about her much. Though I loved her jovial nature, I couldn't connect her with Arjun as much as I could for Riya. Maybe I because I was never over Ariya. Sakshi's character was also a good one. She was kind of slow cold breeze. Like Riya yet very different. Shree and chotu, have my heart. There banter was something that made the show so much likeable and loveable. They had once shown about Chotu's past regarding his father but then it was just that. They could have shown so much. And shree, that guy though had quite a good characterisation or dare I say the best out of all, we still didn't get to know much about his personal life. They also had so much to show about liza and shree. This couple could have been so cute and strong too. How I wish this show to be back.
