Their chemistry was beautiful tho!
There's quite a few ArNi lovers .. most of them inactive

She was wearing it the first time they met .. so it's hers I believe! (The scene where she comes to his place, all drenched and he's telling Rathore his home ain't guesthouse and ladki ko dekh k phisal gaya 🤣)
Would like to share some of the observations:
1. Sameer Rathore the erstwhile ETF Chief always addresses or refers contributions as "Hum dhoondh lenge, Hamein pakadna hoga, ETF case solve karega" etc. basically collectively, sharing responsibilities and credits whereas Arjun Rawte says "Mujhse bach nahin payega, Main pakad loonga, Meri giraft se bach nahin payega" etc.
This was probably to show the contrasts in their personalities where Sameer was a team player and a leader while Arjun was the lone wolf. It was only later that the wolf started working with the pack 😀.
2. They have stuck to protocols and am glad they have.
Although Arjun has tendencies to work independently, he did respect standard operating procedures (atleast in public). Like in the event of an investigation or interrogation the necessary protocols are shown to be followed like the Chief and/or senior members take the seat, preliminary investigations done by the team and shared with seniors. (Although I have never understood why Arjun used to only take one glove. He used to use gloves on both hands, somewhere midway, he started using gloves only on one hand 🤔).
3. The contrasts in what Riya and Ayesha meant to the team.
Riya was the darling of the team and treated delicately (may be pampered). She always took the seat with the chief and was guarded.
Ayesha on the other hand was one among the boys. She always stood behind her boss and jumped at every opportunity to give her contribution.
4. Sameer probably had an aptitude for technology and Arjun (atleast initially) was shown having an aptitude for forensics (of course he was shown to be a know-it-ALL). Instances being Sameer chiding Shree over the polygraph machine, reminding Shree to use the face recognition software to find the suspect from the database and Arjun explaining chemical reactions, angle of assault. Which is probably why Rathod was often teamed with Chotu amd Arjun with Shree.
5. We have already spoken about colour co-ordination. From Arjun-Sameer being colour co-ordinated to later Sameer-Ayesha being colour co-ordinated.
What are you observations, people?
Lmao such deep observations, never watched it and now dont have the courage to rewatch😆
Riya was kind of 'weak;- she was the empath but also naive. Came straight from research desk hence she didnt know much about field and usage of guns. Thats why the men was protective over her, but it was not overbearing in a way to make her feel she couldnt handle something. Shree Chotu were encouraging friends, Rathore let her in post the shooting incident. Arjun was the one who was irritated at her lack of skills but also pushed her to be better. If she was alive we would have seen much of her skills- I see her someone being the calm force during an investigation, coaxing suspects to reveal truth in contrast of Sameer (yelling) and Arjun (come with solid evidences).
Ayesha was one of the men, She knew about guns, she was into UC ops, she could handle dual identity and disguises, and she was someone who was, at first at least, kind of like Arjun. She would wander away alone to investigate something, she was aloof. It was only to fast forward the 'love' track that she became softer, feminine. Of course we saw nothing how she and Sam bonded- maybe as she was like Arjun, Sameer saw underneath the tough exterior and she let him in. Unlike Arjun there was no history hence they could have a fresh start.
As time passed Arjun became the omipresent omnipotent know it all master at shooting/forensics/physical fights/interrogation/yada yada yada, a common issue ITV shows face to show their ML character as the best. The fact that Liza was present yet at times she would ask Arjun on forensic stuff- absolutely ridiculous. He always got a pass on his shortcomings and came out as a hero, had no repurcussions many times- during the investigation of Pathan lala, he was cleared cause exactly at the time they had the hotel/disguise case and it showed the team works well. Maybe because he had nothing to lose at first meant there was no scope for showing risks, and in the end he lost the team and even then it didnt feel like it had any effect on him (though i admit i stopped watching properly post Ri so I might be mistaken). They brought the simran karan and kid angle and as usual nothing changed. He was the lone wolf, he kept people at arms length. Karan like Riya wanted him to join civilization and he did reluctantly. From epi 1 to epi last, his character remained same and its like other characters evolved to justify him and his actions.
Shree Chotu wasnt given much so there is legit nothing to discuss. I would like to imagine Chotu had a good backstory coming from poor background, with his informers (i am not sure if they showed it on screen or we as fandom imagined that) he became something of an important figure hence transferred to ETF.
Sakshi- I have so much to say but let me just say this- rather than making her damsel in distress with dying father, sob story, she could be a sassy character questioning the men about work or have a different perspective on work. She was a reporter, she must have seen everything as a crime reporter and could have a different way of working. I did not mind her sunny personality, but it turned ridiculous quickly to again accomodate the ML.

So true. Agree to them ALL.
I feel, among the supporting characters, Shree's was the most consistent character arc and probably the most defined. On the other hand, Chotu's was the least explored and the most loosely writren.
In Sakshi's case, she did give her one liners like the taunt on Arjun of "Social Contradictions" or her network to get to the root of the drug mafia. Again, just when we found the scope for it, she became just the Female Lead of Arjun and everything else took a backseat. The "bubbly" character was a tad bit much. It could be that we were 10 years younger and at the time it was alright but watching it now, makes it look silly and ridiculous.
At a time that new shows are losing viewership, Arjun stays strong at 18 on Indiaforums.
