मराठी आणि हिंदी मधली अनेक नामवंत मंडळी अबसेन्ट होती. लता च्या अंत्यसंस्कार विधीच्या वेळी नाही तर निदान TV चॅनेल वर श्रद्धांजली तरी त्यांनी द्यायला हवी होती. माधुरी, नाना, धर्मेंद्र, सलमान, आमिर, वहिदा, आशा पारेख , शर्मिला, तनुजा, काजोल, वैजयंतीमला, कपूर,चोप्रा, जोहर families आणि अनेक. कोणी पाहिलं का ह्यांच्यापैकी कोणाला श्रद्धांजली देताना ?

I think the senior actors like Asha Parekh, Vyjayantimala, Dharmendra can be excused because they themselves are nearing or over 80. But the younger generation has no excuse for not attending. The reporters did mention that the Mangeshkar family had asked Bollywood celebs who had come to hospital/home to meet them to not come to Shivaji Park though so IDK how many stayed back because of that. But Madhuri, Karishma etc should have come. Ranbir was present on behalf of the Kapoors.

I remember Rishi Kapoor once ranting over how not a single of the current BW stars came to attend Vinod Khanna's funeral. He was furious that day saying we never disrespected our seniors this way. It has been my observation that the current crop of stars attends only the funerals of those who have their own production house = some influence in the industry. Hence Sridevi's funeral was a huge affair even though she had been relatively inactive for many years before her death but others like Vinod Khanna, Dilip Kumar and today even Lata Mangeshkar are forgotten with a tweet of RIP and some old photo.

This is so precious!! She was so beautiful in her youth days!! 😭

What do you expect from this current crop of Bollywood so called stars!! They do not bother with anything!! Respecting seniors is a very big thing as this idiots do not know how to give condolences correctly!! A legend of the industry had died and they completely disrespect her by not even visiting during her funeral!! Well I expect nothing from them anyway!! A industry which has lost its inner soul and is immersed in S#x, drugs, black money, nepotism and corruption so much!! Do you really think they will understand the value or consequence of losing a gem like Lata Tai!!

धर्मेंद्र personally फक्त दिलीपकुमारच्या वेळी गेला होता. बिग बी नेहेमीप्रमाणे आजही घरी गेला होता. तो हमखास जातो. Seniors नि TV वर चार ओळी बोलायला काहीच हरकत नव्हती. पण आपली माणसं माधुरी,नाना , सर्व लीड मराठी ऍक्टर्स ह्यांनी कुठेच तोंड दाखवलं नाही बहुतेक.

bollywood actors jau det,i dont expect much from them except aditya chopra ,i was expecting him as yashraj ,specially late yash chopra shares a strong bond with lataji.to pan nahi ala😡
