well Bluetooth was temporary code name given for this project by development team (Intel, Ericsson and Nokia) … they wanted it to name as RadioWire or PAN …

Bluetooth word is actually related to King Herald who is known for his dead (greyish blue) tooth and hence nicknamed Bluetooth and he united Denmark and Norway … since Bluetooth technology was all about uniting Personal computers and cellular technologies… they chose bluetooth as code name ….

however when they tried to come up with a name .. they couldn’t find anything unique and bluetooth caught up fast… hence its name Bluetooth….

no last I checked it was up by 1 .. and overall points were decreased… the one rank gain was because MHRW is taken out of the race … did they update today?
