He is also putting Akshu on the spot, she would have face the consequences of his declarations as bade papa would be angrier and more disappointed with her. But don't think the scene would comical when he fall on his feet and beg bade papa, would be more emotional.
There's scene in ramleela movie, when ranveer singh fall on his knees and beg it was really good scene. Something similar would be awesome.

Waise Geetha Govindam heard it's a really vgood movie. Wanted to watch it for a while now.
And the song I think they used rajdeep chatergee version, it's a lesser know version not many people know about it but personally it's my favourite among modern versions of the song.
He needs to stop declaring his love that everyone know already. Bade papa is anything but concerned for akshu future. If he is going to put her on spot like this all the time instead of cutting the drama. Today felt really bad for bade papa. I was kind of woof in today episode. Abhi really doesn't know what to do in such situation that is the fact. And that thing scars any elder in the family who has a girl. Aarohi will now be happy to escape abhi and all of his nonsense attitude. Akshu poor soul she is caught between all. Abhi is like we two love each other didn't do any wrong.
Abhi has to fall flat meher no other option. The way he held his ears today my thought only went their. 😂😂😂
By the way why do I have a weird feeling seeing that dinning table scene. I don't know are the writers exaggerating abhi's act their or just everyone were at edge for his unpredictable behavior.

It gives me a weird feeling, maybe it's out of habit because of his anger issues everyone learned to be cautious but I get an eerie feeling about Birla household.
Akshu is traumatized, she can't force him to stay low-key for awhile because the girl is afraid he would take it the wrong way. Her reluctance to pull her hand out of his grasp even when bade papa was looking and ofcourse when he pretended to be mad and started leaving..... her expression. The temple scene where he was leaving, the moment when she almost lost him forever would haunt her.
This bending down on knees before badepapa we started from the day he went for Arohi demanded her. His behaviour is that. He might be good but won't care anyone. With Arohi he has no problem as she can shout and not take wrath from Abhi .but with Akshu he will think 100 times as she bottles up things. so he is careful for her future. They already have no parents what if he too is gone so it will be more more on their future aspect from his side . Manish told last week your son never cares you nor anything .tauji.and Harsh he is as he is we can't change him..so.how can they knowingly give Ak to him.. because the family are all like different poles in Birlas who will support a meek Ak there. I was thinking ball these why for Arohi they went for Abhi and not for Ak..his behaviour only makes them back out .infront of society he told what we did is right and no explanation..when Manish said sorry to all then also he was adamant holding her hand. Manish repeated twice the words so that he left the hand. Ak didn't come on her own to them. Manish has to pull her from him gently. If this is season2 Manish , he could have done much to Abhi and pulled Ak. He woth growing age and responsibilities respected their love but bend for society and took her. Abhis total character will change step by step. Him accepting her relations first and next becoming a responsible son in his family too. I loved how they brought topic of a boy is given free pass and girls face society badly. Writers and cvs are always female oriented so project problems that way. another thing is Abhira should think of Arohi also..as she did mistakes they have taken their relationship granted. How suddenly Ak is thinking of herself and not for Ar. So Manishs concern will be for two girls not only Abhira. If he approves one he has to see hatred from second. The way Abhira flied the ijjat of families it should be brought back. The slow burn is good.

She didn't come across as reluctant / scared of pulling her hand away. More like - she was trying to be brave and at the same time pleading silently with her bade papa - please don't do this. Both let go of each other's hands almost at the same time when Manish continued to glare at their joined hands. As Meher said, she is stuck between the two. Abhi's on-your-face attitude is not helping the matters. She is still trying to figure out a balance between her family and her love. She is traumatized not that he would get upset or take it the wrong way but that she would lose him forever - like she almost lost him all those times.
At least that's how I perceive it.

Donom betiyon ne naak kataya unka. Why just because of you and your family . Doesn't he know it. But he gives free pass as father of boy. That's shown very well in the scene..and Abhi didn't change his tone much. All know Harsh is wrong but who can tell him .if we see kartik countering Manish he was very very harsh and insulting in initial kaira days.
