Writer butchering characters

Okay I wanted to make a seperate thread on this. Whoever is writing right now has butchered like every character barring Neil and Akshara. Should't be blaming the actors who are just doing what has been written for their characters and what the directors tell them. Harshad is far better and I know people are saying that Pranali has matched and even outshone him. That is only beacuse her character is still consistent to what it was since the start of this season. Abhimanyu's character has been butchered like crazy.

I agree with everything you've written - except Akshara is just maddening in her self-effacement, inability to advocate for herself and constant enabling of Arohi's bad behavior. I think her character development has also been uneven and unappealing in these last dozen episodes - they show her growing a backbone, then poof in the next episode or even the next scene, she's back in doormat mode...

Neil is the only major character who's come out unscathed from this disaster of too many writers spoiling the show. Abhimanyu has definitely received the worst of it.

That wedding they are going to show only for the goenkas to misunderstand them and won't be completed too I guess but before going anywhere the first thing abhira should assure is to inform aarohi about all this. There is a bride waiting for you. It's the most disrespectful thing to reject someone on their wedding and abhira are behaving as if they hardly care about it because of their new found love. It's a serious situation and they need to cancel that wedding first. But here they are going to mandir

Aarohi being pissed off makes sense.

True even Akshara at times has been written inconsistently. Still nowhere as bad as other characters. The show needs a specific set of writers that write only for this show. There would be so much more consistency. Going back and forth between different shows causes inconsistency in characters.

the ACTORS are just coming to WORK and doing their JOBS

we are lucky that they are still motivated when they are asked to do ridiculous things like climb trees and jump out of windows for no apparent reason

Harshad is probably cringing so bad over the stuff he is being made to do. I did not find the confession romantic.

actors toh karenge hi leads ko per episode 1lakh around nd newcomers ko per epi 50k se jyada milta hai Star plus kaafi paise dete hain...agar muje per day per epi 50k mile toh main toh building se bhi kud jayun🤣

Every character starts getting butchered in the show eventually in the name of TRPs. But Abhimanyu has differently seen the most changes in such a short time. He has become this unpredictable X factor now. No character will go unscathed as the show continues to run unfortunately.

But at the end of the day this is a show and the actors are being paid for their work. Could the story line be more consistent sure it can. But it is obvious this season the PH is trying to target a different demographic (not sure who but TRPs are up 🤓)

They (the actors) are on a prime time show with a well established PH and on a long running show. They get the benefits especially for the newer actors exposure to main stream audiences and can potentially be household names. In these times having a job and getting a pay check at the end of the day is reassuring.

We are lucky they are having fun on set and willing to continue playing their characters.

Really are all 3 leads getting the same amount? I thought that Harshad might be getting more than Pranali and Karishma. Might have been why he decided to do this show.

True. This show will benefit everyone who is involved in it. Considering it's legacy. Even Harshad, who hasn't had a high trp show in a long time.
