Logically one is going to drink water after going in circles. Inko peena tha without any bytes. Direct neat wala peg liya dono ne. Chad gyi aur chakna bhul gye.

😆 Abhira wanted to re create " It happened one night"

Logic and this show go together like garlic and vampires...

Oh man, now that's a classic movie!

Right!! Those types make the most chillin' villains - you don't see them coming till the knife's in your back....

Bold: gads really? I missed this, sometimes I just ff to get to the Harshad scenes... that's bizarre alright!

Never had lauki halwa (thank the Lord) but true dat about zucchini bread, my friend makes a version with chocolate chips that just *chef's kiss*

The culinary references in this show are the most distasteful things about it - Indian food is heaven and they talk about methi dana in far too many forms and lauki ka halwa...🤢

@Bold Good point, meine toh socha he nahi re. Hmm... means either Abhi is lying or he is very pious.

lol I didn't watch yrkkh back then but did see the memes during that time. I think it was funny in a good way 😆

Yes Akshara really said that That was the first time I stayed up to watch an episode of yrkkh and that's the prasad I received.

Chocolate chip and zucchini bread sounds moreish! I just googled it and look ☺️

@Bold2 ikr 🤣 at least they know what gajar ka halwa is.

Dude, that looks a lot like the one my friend makes (now I'm practically smelling it)! Even better toasted and slathered with butter (I can feel my cholestrol going up - quick someone get me a wheelchair and some music therapy stat🤣)

When I get really tired of Akshu's mahanta, I pretend she's trolling Arohi hard when she says all these sugary and self-deprecating things, and is actually just setting her up to phodo her bhaanda in a BIG way at the engagement (a girl can dream...)...

Thinking back to Aditya Hooda, he was a self-proclaimed man child and exhibited some really out of bounds behavior but the script gave him so much realism and growth that somehow it was not as jarring as it is with Abhi. Harshad also got into all the facets of that role so beautifully. Apacs and I had this discussion a few days back about what HC saw in the YRKKH script that would stretch his acting chops beyond what he has already done in BP. But like we said a while back, he may have just needed the job which is a totally legit reason to do a show - plus, he elevates the source material as much as he can...

Harshad has surpassed his own skills in Bepannaah. Aditya Hood was horrible to begin with. Hc rose above the script. I agree that with all his flaws,AD had the necessary character arc and growth. He became a craze. Fans of rival shows also acknowledged his talent. No one could point or criticize his abilities. Every one was in awe of his performance.

Jennifer's role was restricted in Bepannaah. She could improvise beyond a point.

Harshad is sailing in the same boat with Yrkkh. He has to be within the boundaries of the script. Abhimanyu has limited scope. He cannot understand the meaning of no. Reasoning fails him. Why do humans behave in a particular manner is beyond his understanding. Everything starts and ends with his mother.

Akshara's voice is more important to him. After being drunk the first thing he requests is Akshu gana gao na

The others characters have more substance. For example I o have much to say about Neil. He has that out of box thinking aptitude. Harsh is very sharp.

Abhimanyu is Manjri's son in all aspects.

All said and done. I respect HC's decisions. He did not exactly hide the reason as to why he signed Yrkkh.

Sometimes we are not left with choices.

Put that way, it almost sounds like Abhimanyu is on the autism spectrum. A lot of very technically accomplished men have Aspergers syndrome which is a very high functioning version of autism - people with Aspergers have a very limited and sometimes childish emotional worldview and they don't understand or respond well to social cues. It would be interesting to see a character like that although I doubt that's where the writers here are going... I agree they have really limited Abhi's character, maybe there's some hope for growth though. Harshad is really giving it his all, that much is clear.

True enough - I mean, I'm glad I get to see him 5 times a week even if it's in the context of YRKKH which I swear is like crack cocaine to me (sooo bad, sooo unhealthy but I just cant seem to quit it🤣). I can't even find full episodes of BP in the US anymore so I was reduced to watching clips on Youtube before he joined YRKKH 🤣

Wow I work with autistic kids.

Believe me

Abhimanyu Birla does not have Aspie traits. . After daru party, he is intimate with Akshara. Selective social cues are missing. Not everything has gone for a toss. His eye contact is fantastic.

The ones on the spectrum cannot look into your eyes.

In my opinion he is emotionally challenged to some extent.

Many docs, researchers, scientists do have Aspergers. At the same time their contribution to society is tremendous. Genuine people.

Harshad is addictive. Cannabis in my dictionary.

That's awesome! And here's me, just spouting off from psych class and making a pompous ass of myself 😆

Harshad is just all that and more - the man's got some kind of magic that comes right through the screen and grabs you ❤️ Isko Hollywood mein laao - there are SO many Indian characters now on US TV shows, even Anupam Kher was a regular on a medical show.
