Say what we will about Papa Birla, the man is sharp as a tack! Often he is the awaaz of the audience. Was really disappointed when he took Arohi's side after finding out her lies.
Thinking back to Aditya Hooda, he was a self-proclaimed man child and exhibited some really out of bounds behavior but the script gave him so much realism and growth that somehow it was not as jarring as it is with Abhi. Harshad also got into all the facets of that role so beautifully. Apacs and I had this discussion a few days back about what HC saw in the YRKKH script that would stretch his acting chops beyond what he has already done in BP. But like we said a while back, he may have just needed the job which is a totally legit reason to do a show - plus, he elevates the source material as much as he can...

See that's the exact type of inconsistency these writers fall into all the time - he smelled booze on the man but not while swigging the whole bottle! It's just bad writing. Otherwise (i hate to say it but the show did acknowledge covid in its early days), we could assume he is recovering from covid and lost his sense of smell...

Bold: gads really? I missed this, sometimes I just ff to get to the Harshad scenes... that's bizarre alright!

Never had lauki halwa (thank the Lord) but true dat about zucchini bread, my friend makes a version with chocolate chips that just *chef's kiss*

The culinary references in this show are the most distasteful things about it - Indian food is heaven and they talk about methi dana in far too many forms and lauki ka halwa...🤢

Someone on this board mentioned she was a vamp in her previous show and a really horrible character - hard to believe seeing how sweet and naive she is as Akshu. Girl has range!
