I think they are considering the project as long term investment to establish their brand. There may be hidden issues like whitening of black money - not sure though. All wild guesses.

It could be even a venture capital investment by any financiar behind the scene fulfilling his/her long cherished childhood dream to work with Sony and II. 😆🤣

Not sure about the role of Sony in this project as a partner. May be they are just making money from selling their right on the II contestants. Have no idea really

Jokes apart this buisiness model is a mystery for us. I read in another group Raj surani is planning 30 more after this 20 with other idols(he told in some interview it seems). I am clueless of how on earth 50 albums with no profit are going to be realistic. Anyway let's wait and see.

We maybe under estimating youtube..there r quite a few youtubers who don't really have a stable fall back career but follow a decently lavish lifestyle which includes frequent vacations..

I don't know how sustainable it is..but currently maybe it pays

I looked at the octopus YouTube channel and it has more than 500k subscribers. All of these is because of their videos about pawan /arunita.

I think they are looking at long term investment and wants to make money off YouTube
