I really don’t understand the semi Kanye Singh (actually a horrible character) feel that Abhi has been giving out. At least in the case of Kabir Singh the relationship was 7 years old. What is all the drama for a 2 week non-relationship. This anger, hate, disappointment, pain. It keeps going on and on and on. And she gets recognition for none of this.

I felt like slapping Kairav when he told her not to come and walked away texting like it was nothing he had said when all she wants is to not be excluded for once.

And now Abhi telling her not to take the job. JOW DARE HE. I don’t care that Mahima has her own intentions in offering this job, how dare he think he can demand this!

It keeps going on and on because Akshara herself lets everyone walk over her. She allows it to keep going on and on. She wants to be mahaan and purposefully lets all the things listed above happen. Even after Abhimanyu asking her so many times, she flatly refuses and inflicts pain on herself and on him.

Nobody asked her to do all the above. If only she expresses her thoughts and speaks up, no one will be forcing her to be tyaag ki murat or sacrificial lamb. Her family seems to pay more attention to Arohi because Arohi is being open and explicit. God also helps only those who help themselves.

Akshara has no reason to assume that her family does not love her, and she has no reason for making these unnecessary sacrifices. Her family assumes that she's fine because she always pretends that everything is okay and puts up an act of being happy in front of everyone. That is not healthy and she needs to realize that this behaviour is not correct.

I agree that her family's assumption about her being okay is wrong. They need to talk to her and help her. They need to understand her feelings which they don't seem to be doing now. But honestly, even if they explicitly ask her now, is she going to open her mouth and say anything at all? We all know she will say the exact opposite of the truth. She'll pretend as if everything is great. What can the family do after a point? They're not mind readers right?

As long as we are children, parents and family understand what we want even without us saying anything at all. But at some point, children need to grow up and have their own identity and talk about what they like/dislike, what they want and what they don't want. She has the ability to give back to people assertively: she's talked back to Harsh and Mahima who are strangers. She convinced bade papa when she helped Abhimanyu during the Ruby case. What makes her meek and mute when she needs to express her sadness to her family now?

Nobody forced her to say no to Abhi or to reject Abhi due to Arohi's demand. She did all those things herself purposefully jaan bhujke, out of her own free will and mahaanta. If only she had expressed herself to her family, they would have convinced Arohi and everyone would have been happy. And even after the Tilak day, Mimi and Swarna were talking about Abhi & Akshu's marriage, and how they were ready to go ahead with Akshara's rishta with Abhi. Her family does care.

She has to open her mouth and start respecting and valuing herself. And not expect people to recognize her unnecessary and stupid sacrifices that don't serve any purpose for anyone whatsoever.

She's gone to Birla house not because she doesn't want to be excluded. She's gone there for family ki izzat and sab ki khushi, at the cost of her own heartache. She's trying too hard to be mahaan which is honestly irritating. It's almost as if she wants to prove how sacrificial she is. And Kairav asked her not to come because he knows she'll feel bad looking at Abhi and Arohi.

How dare he: from a feminist point of view it's all very well to ask this question. Men have absolutely no right to have an opinion on whether or not women will work. Women should do whatever they want to do. But the problem here is not a feminism thing.

The issue is she will be around him in his hospital and will keep leading him on again and again, by giving him mixed signals. She'll look at him with longing eyes and will cry for him. And when he gets hope and asks her to clarify, she'll finally dump him AGAIN for her sister. That's what she's been doing repeatedly from the start. Abhimanyu doesn't want her around in order to stop her from playing with his feelings again and to prevent her from breaking his heart again.
