No but how else will he get to know that akshu never left him in the fire and ran away? Either he will be shown after 1 week going back to the village and getting to know from the villagers that akshu saved him (most likely after abhi-arohi marriage fixed), or he goes back there and gets his phone but much later after marriage is fixed he finds evidence of akshu saving him from fire on the phone.

Any of these will do!
