Thank you for the lovely comments, appreciate it. As when it comes to Maan, we all are short of sabr, so here comes the final part. Hope you all like reading it as much as i did writing.

Part 3:

"tum bhi ho, main bhi ho, mandir bhi hai, chalo shaadi kar lete hai" eagerly holds her hand to take her inside

"Anuj, kya bol rahe hai. Aise kaise shaadi kar sakte hai, parivar kaha hai. Gk kaka, baa, babuji, bache, devika, maa, bhavesh koi bhi nahi hai. Thoda to sabr rakhiye"

"haan, ye bhi sahi hai. 26 saal tumhari haan ka intezaar kiya hai.. main to 26 janam tak tumhara intezaar kar sakta hu"

"26 janam, itna sabr kis bazaar se laye hai. Mujh main nahi hai itna sabr"

"bolo, mujh se shaadi karne ke liye itni bechain ho"

"haan matlab nahi, matlab aap bhi na. ab hum is baare main koi baat nahi karenge, thik hai"

"hmm" putting a finger on his lips, basking in the happiness of being together with his Anu finally.

As few moments pass, both think to again go inside the temple and take blessings. Everything has changed, their lives have changed completely in these few moments. And they want to begin this new life with Radha Krishna as the witness to their love, devotion, and support for each other.

This time when they entered, there was something different in their demeanor, in the air. A priest came forward for veneration. "Aap dono ki jodi hamesha radha krishna ki tarah bani rahe", he said. They looked at each other this time and smiled, taking it as blessing, sign from radha krishna.

Anupama thinks of something but is not sure how to ask Anuj. She feels awkward and then thinks of an idea.

"2000 rupees di jiye, Anuj"

"Kyu, kya hua. Pooja to ho gayi na"

"Kuch nahi, aap bas mujhe 2000 rupees di jiye, koi problem hai kya aap ko"

"Nahi, tumhara haq hai, ye lo"… offers his wallet to her

"Nahi, aap hi nikal ke di jiye" thinking she wants him to give from his own hand.

Anuj obliges and takes a 2000 note from his wallet. She sees the photo in his wallet, their first selfie from bhumi pujan but decides not to say anything.

"Ab, aap bahar ja ke wait kare. Main thodi der main hu."

"Main yahi ruk jata hu"

"Kaha na, aap bahar jayenge, kyu zidd kar rahe hai"

"Okay okay, jata hu, par tum dant kyu rahi ho"

"Suri suri, mera wo matlab nahi tha"

"mujhe achcha lagta hai, tumhara haq hai. main waha bahar tumhara wait karta hu". Points towards place outside and goes.

Anupama gives the money and request to keep a pooja for Anuj. She wants to see him happy and prays to God to ward off any evil eyes on his happiness. The offering was for him, so she required him to touch money, as in, be part of it and get blessings.

Anuj, was patiently waiting outside for his Anu. Unaware that two girls were looking and admiring him. One of two challenged other to go talk to him, ask his name and number. Anuj pre-occupied in his thoughts of how lucky he was to finally get Anu, didn’t realized the girls approaching him.

Suddenly, Anu appears before him, at same time as those girls did. "Sorry Bhabhi, wo mistake ho gayi" they said and ran away. Anuj and Anupama both looked at each other and laughed on how the girls ran away.

"Bhabhi, hmm"

"Nahi, wo humari shaadi abhi nahi hui hai, to bhabhi kaise"

"hmm, who bhi sahi hai. To us hisaab se, abhi ke liye, main tumhara Boy Friend hua, bolo" says with a mischievous smile on his face, leaning into her and gives a slight push to her shoulder by his shoulder.

Anupama also smiles hearing this, looks in his eyes and chose to remain silent.

"aur tum meri Girl Friend"

"Jaane se pehle ek selfie le le" thinking about the selfie from bhumi pujan. Though it was first selfie, it had some mixed feelings. She wants to move ahead and make new happy memories.

"main bhul gaya, haan aaj to bahut sari selfie banati hai." They take lots of selfie goofy, lover-dovey, teasing ones; all candid but not a single formal one. Later, Anuj also clicks few candid single pics of his lady love.

Little later they both decide it’s time to go. They turn towards temple from there, bow and pray before leaving. [song, ek duje ke vaste plays again]. Just outside the temple, they reach near Anuj’s lal pari.

Kid: "Saab, le lo ek phool le lo, maam ke liye sirf 10 rupees ka hai."

Anuj looks up, praises god for giving him the opportunity again, after all these years to give a red rose to his Anu. He thought let’s give 26 roses for 26 years but was not sure if the bunch had enough roses. Why to take chances, he gave money and took the entire bunch of red roses for Anupama.

Anupama, accepting those roses, blushes and says "thank you, mujhe itna saara pyaar karne ke liye."

"thank you, mujhe ye mauka dene ke liye, thank you"

She moves towards the passenger door but is blocked by Anuj who is standing against it instead of opening for her.

"Aaj se meri zindagi aur is car ka control, dono tumhare haath main hain. To car tum chalungi, main nahi"

"Are, par main kaise, aap pagal hai kya. aapki kitni mehengi car hai, agar mujh se thuk gayi to, kitna kharcha hoga."

"Kuch nahi hoga, maine kaha na. Ab tum chup chap baitho." And takes her towards the driver side.

"Lao ye bag aur flowers mujhe de do, tum baitho"

"Par Anuj"

"Kaha na, baitho" and she sits in the driver seat.

He puts the bag and flowers on the back seat, comes and sits in the passenger seat.

Anu, looks bit confused as the car’s system is different and new for her.

"Ye car alag hai, aap kyu nahi samjhte, mujh se nahi hoga."

"Aisa kuch nahi hai."

Saying this he reclines towards her side and explains the functioning. The physical proximity and his smell affects her. She reproaches herself to focus on his words. Anuj, aware of the effect he is having on her, smiles to himself and explains her twice.

"To ab kaha chale? Ghar wapas jana hai kya?"

"Kaha na, ab meri zindagi aur ye car dono tumhare haath main hai. Tum jaha chahe, waha le chalo."

"Thik hai, bhook lagi hai. To pehle chal ke kuch kha le." Though she wasn’t much hungry but she wanted to spend some more time with him. And she wasn’t sure, if he has had proper breakfast in morning; so she wanted to ensure that he has proper lunch.

"Jo hukm mere aaka." Anuj is on cloud nine, he is happy to be with her, now and forever. Where they go next, what they eat, he doesn’t care; as long as his Anu is with him, he is happy, he is content. Next moment he thinks, 'aaj to lunch, Anu ke haath se hi khaonga'

Anuj, relaxing in the car with his back to window, turned to face Anupama, recites shayari…

‘Mohabbat ka pehla sabak chahta hu, tujhe dekhne ka main apne haq chahta hu, bahut dekha darr darr ke tujhe hai, ab tujhe dekhna bedharak chahta hu, mohabbat ka pehla sabak chahta hu, tujhe dekhne ka main apna haq chahta hu’

He is looking at his Anu for the first time with full haq; unabashed, with love in his eyes he keeps looking at her, only her. She fully aware of his gaze, his love, has a soft smile on her face and happy with being together forever.

‘I Love You, Anu’

‘I Love you too, Anuj’

Thanks. Glad you liked it.. yes, I believe in closure. There were few more like the Rose he wanted to gift years back, still has kept with him and Devika's tease about hone wala boyfriend.
