And that hand kiss scene was well just chef's kiss ☺️☺️

Other than the physical act (and other issues) itself, Sid's naughty + slightly seductive look and Mithai's shy glances really captured the essence of the moment. Hats off to both Adrit and Soumi for the really fantastic chemistry

Also just out of curiosity what shows + cinema is Sid watching? And what is this "it" that he knows how to do? ☺️🤣

@bold- Exactly my query too🤣

I watched the episode, truly this was done pretty nicely. Liked the scene where both Mithai and Borobabu are actually just left out in the whole bday cake cutting show.

They both are makers of the whole party. Borobabu being jonmodaata and Mithai being arranger of the party. Yet how subtly they are not part of that.🤔

So true! Like I said earlier, 99% of the audience is only concerned with the end outcome, which in this case, was a kiss.

Even if, hypothetically, Sid had battered and bruised Mithai and then planted a kiss on her hand, most of the audience would be very happy about it. Nobody bothers about the intentions or emotions behind anything and that to me is very bothersome, because then the public continues to wallow in the filth of regressiveness, never wanting to come out, because its all too convenient to be happy about (what appears to most as) romance, not looking in to what happened before or after, or why whatever happened happened.

@bold - bitter truth. Almost all ItV shows are regressive. Sadly/ironically shows that used to air 15 years back were much more progressive.😳

Gawwwd, what an annoying episode!

Mithai dancing on the terrace was super cute😳😳 everything after that was idiotic to the next level.

Ekhon jokhon Sid has finally decided enough is enough regarding the Ja vs Ja saga, I hope the writers tone it down. R bhalo lagche na. It stopped being funny a few episodes back.

The main problem regarding Sid Mithai relationship is the lack of anything from Sid. Ek dike mithai prem e pagol hoye gamla vangche, r ek dike he is not affected at all.

This kiss to me felt like that 1 month biye challenge. Siddharth Modak jeta bole, ota kore dekhaye. Because he said he will kiss chef's hand, he did it to keep his word. It was not something he did for his wife. Mane not even one intense long eye lock. Just kiss korlo and then said scene over. Ei tuku te toofan mail has sacrificed the use of her right hand😆🥺

@bold: This was another thing I was unable to fathom. What in the world did that mean? So, Sid knew this would transport Mithai into fantasy land and those two words made it clear that there were no feelings involved from his side. This was some sort of drama he agreed to play along to only because he happened to say so and he does not go back on his words. And so "Scene over" was an indication that the drama is now over, for Mithai Rani, to snap back to reality? Quite rude🤓

Baah khub bhalo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I remember back during kindergarten sports our teachers used to give toffees as consolation prizes to all those kids who took part in sports but couldn't win... But those toffees would have made us super happy... This sounds like same ...

100% satya vachan.. I had the exact same thoughts about today's episode 😃

I am refraining from commenting on Mithai's overreaction in today's episode because I have a feeling they are building up to something with it. Overall I found it cute but somewhat over the top 👏

What disappointed me however was the dumb Ja vs. Ja fight and Sree and Nanda's kitchen conversation.

This whole Ja vs. Ja fight was funny at the beginning but now it just seems childish and pointless. In fact, Mithai is also coming off looking very petty after these squabbles. And Tyas honestly at this point why does she even speak? Everything she says backfires on her and she comes off looking even dumber 👎🏼

Sree and Nanda's conversation revealed a lot today - I believe Nanda's portion of the conversation reveals the mindset held by the majority of the Modaks that Sid is giving great "Samman" to "a meye like Mithai" by standing up for her and through his gestures of affection. I liked Sree's reply because she presented how it actually should be perceived. 👍🏼

@bold - Exactly this - I watched tomorrow's premium episode and given how it ended I think Mithai's bubble is going to burst once again very quickly. I don't know why the makers keep coming back to the same premise of Sid claiming not to believe in love over and over again like a Jalebi. Some tropes are really getting repetitive and annoying now.

Overall I feel the pace of the story has really slowed down for some reason. I know I keep harping the same thing over and over again but the story really needs to move forward.

@bold - He knows..he knows for sure. The Swami Sidhananda title was not given in vain

As he himself claims he observes and knows what is going on most of the time... it's just that he chooses to act on those things selectively 👏

Watched the next episode …

Sid upset with Mit washing her hair at night

(She did it to shake herself from her love lorn day dream )

Sid dissatisfied with Mit towel ling her hair ..so he decides to blow dry her hair for her .

Sid does it without any emotions while Mit is so much in love with Sid that she is following his every move . Sid likes MIT’s long hair he loved his mother’s long hair too .
Sod brought payash to bedroom himself n asks Amit to feed him a spoonful ..but Mit was so lost in him he decided to help himself . He then missed his mother who made payesh on u8s birthdays in childhood .
anyway this act of his ..blow drying her hair has earned him his bed tea n news paper in bed every morning .

Sid feels Mit is not actually a stupid girl as he had earlier thought her to be .
rest of the story is a blur

My dil is happy. I really loved the payesh eating scene of sidmit today.❤️

I sometimes want to hit the Modak family for their lack of apathy towards Sid. It is not enough to love someone, you also have to make them feel the love. Unfortunately, the Modak family royally failed in making sid feel loved and secure.

Of course a child who has tragically lost his mother will throw tantrums and express anger. Doesn't mean you completely give up on him. I am 31 years old and I still miss my mom on my birthday because I don't get the mandatory jonmodin er payesh anymore. Here, not one member of the family has ever made payesh for him after his mother died. How utterly sad is that.

Such scenes make me root for Sid more. Mithai is a strong girl, and frankly doesn't need Sid or Modak poribar to live her life. But I truly feel Sid needs mithai in his life to be happy. I was very happy that he did the payesh gesture without any poking from the holla party. It was all his idea and it was truly heartfelt.😳 👍🏼

About next morning, high time that mithai comes out of her dream world. So I was happy to listen to the "Siddharth Modak prem them e bishwas kore na" line.😆

And that is a problem, isn't it? He definitely 100% knows Mithai loves him. If not love, at least has romantic affection for him. Knows that she wants a typical married life in the ideal sense.

But what is he doing knowing that?? He has accepted the marriage, but he doesn't believe in love.

There needs to happen some big dhamaka that makes Sid realise his romantic feelings. He needs to accept it to himself first that what he feels for mithai when he keeps staring at her is more than just respect and admiration.
