But even for that people call Aishwarya a user and n opportunist..as if she wouldn't have made n identity for herself if she wasn't a Bachchan Bahu..

No wonder she has shut herself up against such criticism..better to be called n ice queen rather than reacting to nonsense😊

Ok so Somy is mad that she got in a fight with Salman and decided to out him? She had no problem calling Salman after breaking up with him to help her when her dad was in the hospital....ok fine, I can accept people going to back to their abuser. But my problem is she denied that he abused her for years and years after. She blamed Aishwarya Rai for coming between them. Why would a woman who runs a charity for abused women not only deny the abuse but accept his money for the charity, have him make an appearance for the charity and post pictures of him wearing her shirts. What a disservice to the charity and it's cause. I'm sorry but it doesn't make sense. This isn't the same as not coming forward for years which I can understand happens. She straight up denied the abuse for years. This while she started a charity for abused women and not only accepted his help but posted pictures of him and his family. I don't know what actually happened but sounds like she got in some fight with him and now wants to show him what she's capable of.

Listen, I grew up with a very gentle father and even if my husband raises his voice a bit, I walk away. If he continued that behavior, I would leave him...he knows better than to do that. I have daughters and I would never want them to stay in a relationship where they aren't treated with respect Salman sounds problematic in relationships and there's a reason he isn't married. If he gets drunk and disrespects these women then good for them for leaving him. Her story just makes no sense at all. Especially in her line of work, she most likely wouldn't have denied abuse if it existed. She sounds pissed off after a fight and she's coming for him.

So in other words shame on this girl who grew up watching her mother be abused and was immature enough to fly half way around the world based on a crush to allow a man - who pretty much everyone admits is ‘problematic in relationships’ - to abuse her and not have the insight to recognize she was abused and escape immediately. Further shame that she didn’t feel comfortable to stand on the street corner accusing one of the biggest stars in India of abuse right away. Terrible that she accepted help for a charity for abused women from a man who needs to make amends to women he’s abused. Finally shame on this woman for evolving. How dare she go from a teenager who doesn’t understand how a real man is supposed to treat a woman to a woman who is confident enough to help other women and face the scorn of those who judge her. ANYTIME you want proof that abuse can be occurring and still be denied by the abused talk to an honest policeman, nurse or doctor and they will tell you it happens ALL THE TIME.

Problematic doesn't equate abuse though...it means that he is most likely a crappy boyfriend... he's a cheater for example.

Somy was vulnerable in India but years later in the States, she wasn't. I know women defend abusive partners when they're in relationships with them. It's even common to stay quiet after. Somy did the exact opposite...she defended him years after their breakup from a country far away that she was safe in. A woman advocating for violence against women didn't need to actively support the so called abuser. If she was abused, then she made Aishwarya look like a complete liar. Why do this when your life's mission is supporting abused women? Staying quiet and actively supporting and defending years later are different. Somy evolved long ago, speaking about other abuse she endured in her life. She started this charity years ago, all while denying allegations against Salman.

I don't know what happened but she hasn't been able to convince me because something about her sudden shift after an argument is strange to me.

Respect for Somy Ali finally speaking out and tell what happen to her, that she was abused. Hopefully this helps a lot of girls. Good Somy got out, huge respect. Wish Somy all the best!

Mine respect for Aishwarya grow too, she was indeed the only one who dared to speak against a huge bollywood star in her time.

Hopefully this lead to change in Bollywood which sadly i doubt!! But who knows!!

Exactly .. its strange the fact that she openly denied the abuse for a very long time when she did have the opportunity to speak up and set example for women she is supporting now long before
