Actually I have been noticing it for quite a few times but I ignored it and didn't paid much attention.

But it's actually seen every single time .

This show is too sexist man,I wouldn't want any young girl to watch this show and actually inculcate this.

Actually I have a friend who is very rich financially ,just like CN they live in a joint family and have a lavish lifestyle but they have the strong regressive mentality just like this show. For them a girl is like a commodity that needs to be exchanged in the name of marriage and she needs to have babies according to a certain age and her whole life should revolve around their in laws and husband.

That's why Everytime I go there,I end up having an argument.Thats why they ignore or run away whenever I come there .I have seen these dining table scenes in real life too.I have seen how they all treat their wives publicly like she is some servant.

They always comment on my lifestyle,also how my mom is working and not focusing on her house blah blah...

Trust me whenever I see people or mentality like this in real or reel,it's just boils my mind and I just start having arguments and fights with them.

It's too much... Personally as a girl also I would also be shocked and offended too if someone would force me to have a baby(by ordering in public) in normal situation ,here she has a much complicated situation.

I mean no one should have a right to talk about their intimate life.Tbh , I would have cried just like sai and shouted too on her .And I am saying this as I am older than her.

It's high time Sai starts giving back. It's really sending wrong message to the itv audience.

A girl is meant to be more than just a machine for producing babies and be their daughter in law.She is so much more than that.

If she doesn't starts giving back by end of this week,then I am gonna lose all hope too. I have seen show where mellowed and quiet girls wont say anything but the moment someone like bk start forcing their backward ideologies on them which will lead them leave their passion,freedom and career.They would fight fiercely and rebel to actually continue their dreams.

I don't want Sai to convert to full time bahu of chavan niwas who is always involved doing welfare of others.

It's high time she starts focusing on her career.

Also I have a question why does in dining table all the bahu stand and serve food, but Sonali and PP get to sit and have food with others?while Ashwini,sai and Karishma keep on serving food?Again this is so sexist (strictly my pov) ,I guess everyone is capable of serving themselves.

My pov though

Sai I think is mostly worried about the cycle of MU and fights :(

her returning to virat again and again shows her bond with him but sacred of losing him again. That’s why she questions her decision because the pain of losing him is still fresh

I am totally against baby talk because she has studies to finish but her inability to accept their actual relationship threw me off. Because sai is intelligent and also mature. She knows she can’t bind virat in this friendship forever IFF she is expectimg only friendship. Her frustration or inability is because she doesn’t know ‘yet’ how to even start their marriage 😢.

I think being in friendship she is able to make some conversations with him without any inhibitions. She might be thinking this will pave a way for them to open up better to each other!

Sai also has this protective instinct towards her heart which is her defense mechanism also. In that defense she rejects everything that could be possible between them. Second time when I watched it looked like a momentary outburst when she said she can’t do what they except from her…

Again only thing that can relieve her from this confusion is either virat declaring his love in clear words or herself realizing her love for him and his love for her! And we know which way we are headed 😳

ps: felt for virat as much. He is foreseeing only rejection from her as a husband. It must be so heartbreaking. 💔

The only times I remember pp serving Sai is when she did drama of the breakfast she cooked after her so-called reconciliation with Sam n mocked Sai.. earlier episodes also pp was using the "serving" also for one-upmanship. She wanted people to eat her bread butter n not Sai's thalipeeth. When Sai was trying to eat breakfast n go to college in a rush, she was made to leave empty stomach. So while I agree that PP has also been shown serving others, she hasn't been show parosofying to Sai/Karishma. Pp has always been shown favoritism on the show by the CN peeps. And the other point is why do they not show shivani/mansi/etc do any work or say anything worthwhile. Ashwini ki toh aadat hai. She is the one who has taken the theka of cooking n serving. But sonali, mansi, shivani never do any real work!

In KD infact, when Sai cones from hospital, the character of BK not only cooks food but serves it herself. It was a good scene.

Its not anything deliberate this particular time but I wish that itv didn't keep promoting this visual of all the men being served by women every single time in this manner. Its subtle patriarchy. Itnaa bada table hai, khaana rakha hai, sabb saath baith ke khaa sakte hai, khud ko serve kar sakte hai...why does anyone need to be parosofying at all.

Sai and her confusion is so visible. When she was crying to Aaba that she has no one but Virat my heart broke for her. She craves for him and his acceptance but cannot even say that openly since their marriage was a deal first and now it's friendship😭. She really needs a mentor or a friend who can talk to her and hopefully Virat has become her that friend who she can share things with 🤞. All the other chavans are useless be is Shivani, Mohit, Samrat or Aai 😵.

Whatever I have read, Kaku's dialogues were extremely derogatory and insulting..not just for a 19 year old girl but to any woman who stays in the house..The husband should have stood up and taken a stand. SHe is his responsibilty and in situations like these, he needs to prove that he is responsible.. But as usual he disappoints.. No woman should go through, specially who has been brought up in completely different environment. Sai is too young to be talked in that manner, to be dealt with in that manner...
