There is no competition by anyone in that segment 😊 But that leads to videos where she is more seen and less heard.

The journey is in its infancy. Let us not get ahead of ourselves. Some songs, no matter how much fans like it, will bomb. We should not be licking wounds when that happens. There are many things that matter with a song and its success. Some are not because it was worse or better.

You may not like what I just said but let us be good evaluative fans who are prepared for downs and ups. That is bound to happen even if she has a hummable hit in the near future. A hummable hit is song on the publics lips - she still does not have one.

No, I absolutely agree with you - I may be a fan but I always think reasonably - and I firmly believe that success is 60% luck in art world. But that's what I meant - that a good catchy song 'most probably' will do well - whether it's sung by Arunita or PD - nobody knows what might click with people.

Yes, what she needs is a hit song that is hummed, not a Himesh blockbuster type hit :)
That will give her respect and a launching pad for a fruitful career.

By all accounts while she performed very creditably till date in the UK, she was not the cynosure of all eyes. There are others who are evidently more effective at live performances than her at this stage. So for the 1st time since idol she is playing second fiddle because of her relative inexperience and because of the type of songs she sings. She has to learn and get better in this respect because future earnings are very show dependent. She has one Achille's heel and age will fix that. In the meantime she needs to book some winning songs which will give her the time she needs.

So, my point was that while we as fans always celebrate success of our favourite, we should learn to wait for her to flower fully as a singer and performer. That will take time. Till such time comparisons can backfire and that just brings sadness.

So let us just stick to her, shall we. Not compare her success with others for nothing but feelgood!

I remember those Ii12 days. I used to give satistics of comparative view count of Aru and Pawan's solo performances in YT comment section.. as that time his fans were campaigning that Aru was getting most views only in duets with Pawan..and its due to pawan's populerity only !!!

So many of us fought so many battles for her on SM when she was competing!

She is lucky to have fans like you. She really needs them now when her real struggles start.

She is a phenomenal artist and an enigmatic person. It is fun to be her fan! 😃

Like, I was talking with someone- that most people today don't care for any particular singer they just need good beat in music and a guy or a girl giving voice to often weird lyrics. Some people then make name with such songs and that's what success is today. Talent absolutely is 'NO' guarantee for success today. Earlier when recording a song was tough (no autotune, plus do it in one go, and no special effects) - atleast talent was a requirement.
