there are fanclubs of many other so called celebrity ‘pairs/ships’. Most are not in any personal relationships. It’s a time pass for these fan clubs. I should say waste of time.

Both are young. Especially Aru. Long way to go for them individually to establish themselves as known faces as singers in Bwood. Not easy as there are many good singers and composers out there. It’s a very diluted market. If u don’t stay in the public eye, u get forgotten quickly.
I like them both individually. They compliment each other well in their singing duets too. Some like Octopus is using their popularity but I really liked the Manzoor Dil song. Raj Surani handled them well and said their pair is like SRK and Kajol!
Their personal life is their very own and no outsider should have a say in it.
I hope to hear Aru and Nihal in a duet some day. Can’t believe II lasted for 10 months and these two never sang a duet!

Bold: The one sided comments are actually result of few immatured posts by so called Arudeep fans in IF. I understand the love and affection for both Aru and PD in the mind of 'Arudeep' fans but there is no meaning of keep on posting different photos, videos hinting affair between Aru and PD. Regarding one sided comments - watching all these, as an Aru fan I only find poor PD to bash, all my angers fall on PD. Feel he is the main culprit and he is encouraging this BS for his career as he will struggle to survive as a solo singer, he uses Aru as the stair for his success. I know this is a very irrational assessment but you can not control the emotion of an angry fan for such unnecessary cheap tickling posts by the Arudeep fans. At the same time I remember how Aru was deprived from the II12 crown in spite of the fact that she was the most deserving candidate.

The so called Arudeep fans are actually diluting PD's image.

I think the point was about Arunita fans and how they make one-sided statements. That these statements are a function of what you wrote is well accepted.

All diehard fans are irrational to an extent. Any thread of any celebrity even here on IF will bear that out. But it should not lead to paranoia and that does seem to happen because of circumstances.

Masala is news. The showbiz industry thrives on masala. Fake love stories between lead actors a few months before release of a new movie is accepted business strategy. Even those who dislike the stories add to the views and comments. This duo thing is masala. Without it there would be little activity on the two in SM. As an example Manzoor Dil reached 10M views in 9 or 10 days. That news was all over. Piya Ji reached 10M or 25M - only IF members talk about it.

Lastly, PD is absolutely capable now of finding work on his own. So is Arunita. Both get extra work as a pair. That is not a bad thing as long as we do not interpret every action of theirs as masala feed. It is especially dangerous to interpret small signs as commitments towards lifelong attachment. Doing that forces the sort of response that started this conversation.

Like you said, respect them as singers. Even appreciate their work as partners. It is not necessary to build a whole story around them without confirmation just because circumstances have thrown them together and will keep doing so for some time.

And please don't panic - especially when nothing is really from the horse's mouth (filly in case 🤣).and is, maybe, overreaction of friends and relatives.

Give Arunita space. If she reads IF (who knows, she may, it is an open forum), she will be very concerned about what real fans say about her at times.

I think she deserves respect and our undying support. Only that will take her forward. Masala will never make her a star.

Sorry, I have not been a regular on any of the threads since it moved to this section. Haven’t really read thru all the comments. Just here and there I read a few, skip a few. I am probably better of staying away.
it’s good to be a fan of any singer without putting down another one especially when they both willingly are working together. Keep personal lives aside.

A lot has been said above, and like all such debates it is unlikely that I can add anything that will change people's minds - and nothing wrong with that either. After all, the world would be a rather boring place if we all agreed on everything.

But just two points needs to be made.

One, speculation about whether or not there exists a special bond between two people and genuinely feeling happy for them is very different from calling out Biwi No. 1. There are always nuances which should not be covered up with a wide brush. Moreover, being an ardent fan of one artist does not preclude being an ardent fan of another. Appreciation and love always multiply, do not divide.

Secondly, talk of "Arudeep" is no different from talk that has taken place on this very thread and maybe AT9 about Arunita and Danish, or about whether "Pappa" has a son. And this from those who have explicitly expressed displeasure at discussions about Pawandeep and Arunita. It is easy to direct ire at PD and his fans, but one must never assume one is on a pedestal oneself.

For now, I will exit this discussion.

Kidding and constantly poking one particular issue are not same.

Posting the indicative photos, videos out of getting genuinely happy is not very wise as per my understanding considering the IF environment and established facts. 🙏
