I think they were trying to get it done as quickly as possible even though plans didn't work out.

Highly doubt it.

For one, Maneshinde and gang would have to be extremely disorganized to be calling around SRK's fam and friends at the last minute to figure who is closest AND would have clean record with enough immovable assets.

For another, Juhi would have had to show some papers I imagine to tehsildar to get the certificate. My most recent experience with a bank in India required me to notarize my passport, OCI card, U.S. driver's license, all in duplicate, then get the bank form notarized. Trust me, it was a mega pain. 😆 Then there would be financial documents which people don't leave lying around at home. Juhi is not going to be carrying those with her while shopping or dining out or shooting.

My feeling is legal team knew it was a possibility and had her ready to go a few days in advance, perhaps even from the first bail hearing.

If Juhi lives in Malabar it’s the farthest.. it will take you atleast an hour to reach Andheri.

That, too, in reasonable traffic. God, I love that city.😆

Got to give Maneshinde credit. The only thing stopping him was the court. Otherwise, he had everything ready to go.

I mean, Merchant's father is a lawyer himself and did not foresee this possibility.

Not that I need legal help, but what does Maneshinde charge?😆

That's what's so shocking. Why is a lawyer having so much trouble showing a solvency certificate to the point that he had to drag in 7 different people to post the bail? The mind boggles. And these are not poor people. I imagine if they hang out with Aryan, they are upper-class too.

I think Juhi was asked to go for Aryan because she lived the closest and they were trying to beat the clock though it didn't work. If you miss the 5:30 PM deadline to put the papers in that stupid box, you have to stay an extra night. Juhi spent 3 or 4 hours in the court too. They didn't finish until 7:30 PM so it ended up rolling over to the next day.

There is just no way that this process should be so frustrating. I can't believe they don't make any changes to all these absurd rules.

I don't understand why can't they make it easier for people, everything is for citizens, why make them suffer?

Juhi was the closest and she knows Aryan from childhood, she was the natural choice

That's what. Her residence was actually the farthest from tehsildar office, not the closest, and it's not likely she could simply go to tehsildar office and get a certificate. She would have to show papers, etc. Since bail order was announced after 2, it's not probable she got everything together - however many forms of ID, financial documents, etc. - and went to tehsildar's office in Andheri one hour away from home, to be done by 5 PM.

Court, I think, is close to Malabar Hill, but she would have to go to tehsildar office first which is quite a long drive in rush hour traffic.

Maneshinde had to have done this beforehand.

Unless of course, Juhi is in the habit of keeping such papers always on the ready😆.

I think it was the legal team. They seem pretty sharp.

Everything is designed to make you fear going to the government.

Juhi didn't go to the Tehsildar office that's why I am bit confused, she was at the court when Maneshinde said that his team is waiting for solvency certificate, I don't know what he did but he did pull some strings 🤷‍♀️😂 otherwise we would have pictures of her from the Tehsildar office too

See, tehsildar office doesn't stamp a paper without being shown documents. Or they would be hauled in for fraud. Esp when case is as high profile as this.

Every i would be dotted and t crossed. SRK would probably insist on it. I doubt he would want to create more trouble, and I doubt he would put Juhi in trouble that way.

Juhi would have had to show papers, whether she appeared in person or not. Not appearing in person makes it even more time consuming. It would mean she needed to authorize someone to get her financial documents, get her IDs, get them to tehsildar office, and get the certificate, all within the short span of <3 hours.

It's simply not possible it was done that day.

Even if she didn't go there personally, it had to have been done before, or they had someone ready AT the tehsildar office on EACH bail hearing day precisely for this purpose. Then as soon as bail was announced, the lawyers could call Juhi and whoever was at tehsildar office to run to court. She got there first, and papers came later.

In either case, there is no way it worked without preplanning.

This guy Maneshinde seems worth every penny of his fee. A lot of times, I suppose it's not simply about knowing the law. You also have to know how to work the system.
