I dont think "leaving the army" itself is an insult. What if he didn't think it was his calling. Just coz its a profession associated with this "ruthba" and the whole aspect of being about shaan and all doesn't mean someone should do it unwillingly. As long as he is doing something with full imaandaari n he/she is sincere, it doesn't matter. In the long run, a doctor, carpenter, plumber, soldier, actor, dancer all gave their role n their place in nation building.

They never did get into why Samrat left the army n i am sure they won't. They didnt think it through. Their side characters have no character arc or depth whatsoever

Another difference Samrat is straightforward and Virat is extremely equivocal... You see then again comes the point of one being mostly stable and other bipolar..

Virat has an opinion and can state it well if he chooses to. But he just chooses to speak up whenever he is in the mood to. Thats the issue. One day he will give his opinion in a manner as if he is laying the law and another day his opinion has to be inferred from his subtle head nods/head shaking and his jalebi talk.

I agree that Samrat is definitely stable. The way he has taken care of the situation during Sai's accident as elder brother to both Sai and Virat. The way he controls pakhi's nonsense. The way he helps Sai to find the right path. And the way he doesnt shy from saying Pakhi what he knows and what he expects! He is very stable. His upbriging without a father and living with maternal family also must have made him behave after observing and analysing the situations.

As nitika pointed in her thread, Virat is influenced by the strict rules and compassion from his mother at the same time, and he must have been affected by his parents marital relationship also! not sure. but he is definitely volatile. May be thats why they kept focussing on Kamal Joshi telling him about Jasbat and Farz. Banda is high on farz (duty) but takes decision on emotional high which is not always good.

Army part is the same way they have written an IPS... No IPS officer abuses and manhandles his wife..ideally should not...specially when he has been shown jazbaad se pehle farz kinda.. and yet we have a Virat Chavan. They failed in their quest to copy KD.. same happened with army officers Samrat and Ninad..The only person who respected his profession is probably Nagesh Chavan...🤪

Hence I don't bring up Samrat leaving army part as a flaw..then we have alot to discuss about a Righteous police officer...

Talking about Virat is pointless..I have always found him selfish.. He is more like the man we have probably seen some where around us..See he is even uncomfortable being in the friendship zone..

Here I have only tried to put the facts about key story line and characters ..if we are here for that Fairy tale Prince Charm then this is not the show for us...original author Leena only tried to enact human emotions.. Though I would like if she had showed us Sai's solo journey considering the fact girls are more intelligent now a days..

Neither of the key characters are totally spotless.. Samrat almost ended for me when he left his widow mother for a woman..

I have seen lot of people who are a*hole with others but love their wives.. There are men who are extremely dutiful but forget their family behind..

So there isn't any parameters to judge anyone how they behave in any particular circumstances...

While theres some people around on this thread- do any of you know what time hulu will upload episodes? Coz this latest one didnt come at the usual time....

Didn't read all the responses so might be repetitive😆. Just based on the story so far, so no clue what happens to them in future🤣

Samrat

- runs away from situations

- intelligent and reads people well

- no ego and is willing to accept Pakhi inspite of knowing her intentions

- stands up for what is right and doesn't change with situation or anger

- liberal in thoughts

Virat

- stayed back and got married to Sai instead of running away

- swayed easily

- in moments of anger ego takes over his body

- very easily inflatable ego

- cannot read people even if they tell him directly what's bothering them 😆, no clue what he stores in his brain 🤣

- conservative yet liberal in thoughts

6:30 pm MST is what it says for me for 340 episode and this is the same time episodes used to come earlier too
