There should be no comparison as both have their own individuality. I can never trust Samrat who abandoned his family and duty . He looks like an escapist and I could never trust a man like him . Who knows he can run away anytime if there is some big problems. Hypothetically speaking I would never want a bf or a husband who can abandon me anytime and act dead . Samrat has failed as a son , brother and most of all as an officer . He should be court marshaled for misleading the army in believing he is MIA and using the pension amount from the army . No amount of mistakes of Virat and other characters can change these facts .

Regrading commanding respect , Virat commands same respect too . What has Samrat achieved so far by commanding respect . Virat was able to change the age old customs of not allowing women in his household to work , he changed the custom where a husband had to rename his wife as if she is some animal . What has Samrat done with his position in the family ?

Pakhi is vile but if he has married any other women he would still threaten to leave the house for his 10 day old sister . Where are his priorities as a husband ? He puts unnecessary pressure on his wife to keep the family together and says he can be happy only if his family is . What if it was Sai who married him and he had said this when family was against Sai initially . It’s easy to mouth dialogues in support of people but taking responsibility of the same person is not a joke . Just because he is supporting Sai doesn’t make him a good son , brother , husband and a responsible person .

If Samrat is a righteous person then why didn’t he take stand for his sister and brother ? Why only for Sai ? A person cannot be called superior than the other because he supports one person in the family . Overall he is a big disappointment

Virat is not Pakhi’s huaband and samrat is🤣

On serious note Virat doesn’t know what true love is , he abused his own love when it was not reciprocated but samrat still give Pakhi benefit of doubt because he truly loves her even though she isn’t worthy of that.

Virat thinks of his and his family’s reputation but samrat is his own person, he doesn’t care about someone else’s view about him to certain extent.

Virat is jalebi kind of person whereas samrat is too straightforward.

Samrat believes emotional strength is controlling your emotions whereas Virat believes showing emotions make you more human.

I don't think hes really "jobless". Its more just that makers have forgotten to show us that he has a job. 🙈😅 They cant keep track of the characters names, whether NiNi are celebrating 25 or 37 years of marriage, n if mohit becomes chota bhai to Sai just because Samrat is bada bhai so obviously they dont even know that they forgot to give Samrat a job .

I think when pp mom talked about money etc, he did mention that he will provide for pp. Its just that hes not money minded, probably way too practical and a bit of a miser too (lol) so he will provide basic things but not fancy stuff. Its ironic because pp is clearly materialistic n her husband is not going to entertain her expensive interests too often, whereas Sai is not in the least materialistic and would be perfectly happy with candy floss or a few balloons or vada pav/street side Chaat but she has a husband who is a spendthrift who likes to pamper her with expensive gifts too. Sai never asked for rubies, diamond ring, or a fancy bash. She'd be equally thrilled if he had bought her a single pastry n some chocolate. But pp clearly was expecting to be the kind of wife who sits around and wants her husband to spend big bucks on her. Shes superficial, shallow, materialistic, delusional. And Samrat is stuck with her thanks to these dumba** makers.

on a side note, i wish people could live in a palace like CN n manage the upkeep/maintenance of a household of like 17 people with the combined incomes provided by Omi's (stay at home) business , BK aur MB ke dead husband pensions, Ninad retired dude pension, Virat ACP salary n Mohits theater earnings. Even if they put it all together, it is still going to be meagre but these guys are flaunting gold, silk sarees, having mahabhoj's. .....

The problem is that just to copy KD, they gave an illogical plot point of how Samrat went missing for over a year making family think hes dead. So when they show utter illogical crap like that you have to just ignore it. Sure, he may have left coz he was upset but nobody could pull off something like faking death to go to Mahabaleshwar and run an orphanage for a 1 day wedding! 🙄🙈😂 Ab itv mein bakwaas toh humesha dikhega!

For all his eccentricities I still believe Virat is morally upright person. I dont know I think Samrat can go 'around' things! Virat will not. I get this feeling because he left the army! But I am not sure yet. Also Virat will stand when things turn worse, not sure about Sammy. Though being emotional, Virat gathers strength to face the situation due to his sense of duty.

Going by jobless logic bigger jobless in the show Is ACP..he hardly works and does everything at home that ACP should not..

Samrat made a mistake and when shown a mirror he accepts it rather than running away..I am sure they would not want to show him a better eprson since Virat is a hero...but whatever I have seen of Samrat o find him a flawed man but a strong character while Virat has crossed those limits of bring flawed..He is beyond that..

According to me till now all the characters are flawed.. Some of them are borderline cruel and vile....

Money doesn't buy you happiness but it gives you security and comfort.. But one shouldn't make it only purpose of living...Even to buy candy floss or golgappas you need money.. Samrat's biggest mistake was he left without thinking about his widow mother ..Next he left Army which was downright insult to those soldier who fights day and nights so that we can live in peace..

Composure ...well the man knows his wife is in love with his brother and yet he is calm and giving her space and letting her chose... Virat almost character assasinated his wife for having a male friend.. there is a lot of difference in composure...

Army part is the same way they have written an IPS... No IPS officer abuses and manhandles his wife..ideally should not...specially when he has been shown jazbaad se pehle farz kinda.. and yet we have a Virat Chavan. They failed in their quest to copy KD.. same happened with army officers Samrat and Ninad..The only person who respected his profession is probably Nagesh Chavan...🤪

Hence I don't bring up Samrat leaving army and being MiA part as a flaw of the character....then we have alot to discuss about a Righteous police officer...both have been very very disrespectful towards their duty.. just because Virat is seen in Khakhee time to time does not mean he is good Police officer...He failed when he threw two women out of his house..late at night because of personal issues..

Maybe he left the army coz it wasnt his calling n he did the army thing under pressure. But they would never explore that on the show about why he chose to quit the job. If they had any logic, they'd show Samrat be in the army posted in different areas with legit reason to be away from home rather than in an orphanage in Mahabaleshwar! 🙈Their character sketch for everyone except Sai n Virat is probably like 1 line. And even for Sai n Virat they show many inconsistencies. Especially in virat's case.

So when you brought up Samrat n Virat characteristics I'm trying to look at their personalities trying to keep out the illogical stuff as much as possible. Both Virat/Samrat core values are the same. They are both upright, just n good at heart. But Samrat seems more stable and predictable whereas Virat is definitely bipolar.
