Lots of passionate exchanges here since morning, I see.

I hope the artists who are the subject of so much passion are reading this and realize how much we want them to succeed - and do what they need to do to help themselves succeed!

As I hear this song Manzoor Dil more and more, I realize that the composition is actually not an easy one for a non-singer to hum, let along try to sing. I think Ashish and Pawandeep have created a complex composition, and it probably indicates a high level of skill in music composition. I also feel that Arunita has done a lot of justice to the low notes, which I don't think anybody else (female singers) in the current Idol crop could have done - except maybe Anjali whose natural pitch itself is very low.

I sincerely hope that the song does well for everyone's sake because I seriously don't understand the business sense behind its selection and execution.

But since I only evaluate music as a untrained listener my opinion about the song is personal and does not seem to reflect the mood of others. I leave the comment in because I am not shy about sharing my opinion even if I am not skilled to appreciate the nuances. 😃

Probably the Sid-Naaz song by Shreya? Huge fan following for that duo and this was supposed to be an incomplete recording / shooting, so a lot of sentimental value too.
