INTRODUCTION

Arunita Kanjilal is a famous Indian Classical and Semi-Classical singer. In 2013 she participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla, a famous Bengali music reality show and became winner delivering great performances at the age of just 10. That gave her first playback as a singer and she sang a song for a Bengali film Aparichit, music composed by the renowned Indian singer and composer Kumar Sanu. The next year she participated in the Zee TV singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2014 and received Most Consistent performer of the Series Award and also she was known as Manch Ka Guroor. She received praise from all the judges and guests throughout the season by her singing versatility and get the opportunity of singing with famous Indian singer Shaan in music shows all over the world. The year 2016 was memorable for her as she got a chance to perform a show in honour of Vijay Thakur, hosted by the legend Amitabh Bachchan. In 2020–2021 she participated in Indian Idol Season 12 and stood at second place. Singer Bappi Lahiri offers Arunita to record for him after hearing her melodious performance. (Source- Wikipedia)

Recently Arunita got opportunity to sing 3 songs in Himesh Reshamiya's Music album. She also sang with Legendary Singer Sonu Nigam for a music video titled Dholida Dhol Re.
