The first 6, 7 months Sai was fire. She was so refreshing as an ITV character. She was the reason the ZA was so enjoyable. She would fight for different issues: Amay, HMs stopping food, fight for studies, save Virat from false accusations etc etc. But now her only issue is Pakhi. The reason why she was my fav has gone. The charm has lost. Now I find her quite irritating with her never ending Pakhi this Pakhi that. She has an issue even if Pakhi is standing. I really hope writers will stop her obsession and give us the old Sai. I would rather see her ignoring Pakhi and Virat and focus on her studies and other problems. Sai the fire, Sai the savage needs to come back.

Sai's impulsiveness and her zidd is an issue for me , has always been...more than her brashness and rudeness...She also thinks she is right and that again is a problem and I hate the fact that she is so forgiving by nature...even when it comes to Pakhi.....

Her other issues like her ranting Pakhi Pakhi, and her calling this marriage a deal can be handled if Virat talks and accepts his mistakes , rather than going, thats past, dont talk about it, talk about my behaviour today...bla bla bla...Its more his doing than anyone else... Not even Sai's.

I also dont like the fact that she hardly stands for herself anymore... She has toned down a lot...

Sai is barely nineteen and she hasn’t clue of interpersonal relationships at any front .. she talks of her father but her father is her life giver .. his blood ran in her veins .. your parents will adjust to you no matter what ..

Isn’t ashwini doing the same with virat ..

Sai has not seen husband wife relationships .. the amount of compromise it has to go through .. she has no idea what her husband needs from her in the marriage..

Has it ever occurred to her what will virat get at the prime of his youth to agree to a celibate life for 5 years to make her a doctor ., is it right on her part to give back nothing to virat .. after she leaves him .. she’s still 23 -24 .. but virat will be in his thirties .. and why should the family agree to a celibate life for their young son

Don’t ninad , ashwini deserve grandkids . So by repeatedly saying contract marriage she makes things unpleasant and unpalatable for all ..

If their marriage has been a normal arranged marriage, Sai being so nopn-committal in the relationship would definitely have been unfair. But the ground rules - that there will be no commitment from his side - were set by Virat. Sai had laid no such embargo. And with those who set the rules should lie the responsibility to make it null and void. I can understand Virat's expectations, insecurities, frustrations. But then, fairness would be Virat clearing his past, proposing a real marriage. Or divorcing Sai is also perfectly fine. He cannot expect Sai to act according to his changed terms & conditions without communicating it properly.

In addition, the presence of Pakhi means their marriage is sitting on a minefield. If anyone has been more irresponsible in the relationship, it has definitely been Virat - by allowing his ex to interfere in their relationship and not setting personal boundaries with her. Virat's expectations that Sai should accept this is not only unfair, it is arrogant.

As for their relationship, both are being dumb! They are both behaving like husband-wife but unwilling to take the risk of trying to change the status quo. Sai should shoot her arrows straight - rip off the bandage. So that she can confront him about his equation with Pakhi, give an ultimatum to Virat, failing which she can leave the best friends to each other's company.

This is how I understand the situation.

Completely agree with you.

I have been saying the same anything ,they have completely butchered her character and completely turned her into a doormat.

I miss that sai Joshi who would stand for Shivani to those ladies, who made the elders eat food, stood up to virat for manhandling her during lunch drama.

Even in her brashness she was strong.

Right now just to be get acceptance from CN family she doesn't says anything just keep on acting like a kid and take all their taunts.

The old sai Joshi was a sherni and she needed no one to stand up for her and now she can't even speak a word and need others to defend her(the locking up incident ,she has no solid answers for virat's allegations).

Sometimes I feel that cvs are trying to show pakhi as more authoritative person, that's why they keep on giving dialogues to taunt and fight back with Sai or anyone. But Sai won't be having any good answers .But If you compare earlier episodes ,sai would have good answers to give back to pakhi and she would be kind of be shocked and scared of her wrath.

It really really hurts me but she has lost her self respect, and for me the only reason to watch is Sai Joshi.

Rest of the characters are ruined for me ,even sairat.

Strictly my pov.

The actress playing Pakhi has taken away all the layers of the characters because of her extremely underwhelming acting skills..She has a very aggressive body language..SO her dialogues come across otherwise...

Sai can make no mistake. She's flawless. This is what many think and it's a crime to say that she's flawed. She's got a heart of gold, is ready to fight for others, is selfless but, this is only for others. When it comes to Virat she never introspects her mistakes, never apologises, is ignorant of his feelings, is rude, brash, takes this relation as a deal according to her whim and fancy, expects Virat to tolerate her nonsense, takes him for granted, includes Pakhi unnecessarily , washes dirty linen in public and most of all she becomes selfish. Even today she told him she doesn't need him. Oh! Really? Then why did she expected him to ask her to go with him? On what rights did she expect him? Does she want to go as a Deal wife or his responsibility? Did she expect him to beg her to go with him like he always did before their trip? Oh! She must have forgotten how she behaved with him during the trip as usual. She has that Virat ke saath sab kuch chalta hai attitude. Sorry for my ranting. But, I just couldn't stop myself. Everyone is busy counting Virat's mistakes oops crimes but noone wants to see Sai's flaws.

I understand that she hasn't seen a husband and wife relation, but she can learn from her elders or atleast she can take help from Ashwini. You can't stay stuck up in one place. She needs to grow.

Blue - This is none of her business since for her Virat is nothing. He's her guardian and that's it. If she had cared for him things would have not been this way. She only cares for herself or for her supporters of Chavan Niwas. Virat can go to hell.

I don’t agree to this .. this thread was on pointing Sai’s mistakes .. I merely said this is Sai’s naïveté that she’s not seeing the whole picture .. since she’s 18-19 .. she has not yet understood what is driving Virat’s frustration from her .. if she had been 23-24 maybe she would have understood better ..

I personally feel a lot of Sai virat issues will disappear if they begin a normal conjugal marriage.. as a lot of issues are coming from the pain point .. that my spouse does not find me attractive.. or finds someone else better than me

An 18 year old girl is not naive atleast in today's time. They are more smarter than before. Anyway, it's fine if you don't agree.

Sai’s impulsiveness and her deal marriage chant is what I don’t like about her.

But I don’t dislike her rude and straightforward words, this shows the honesty which is what I admire in a person if your words hurt a person say sorry for the hurt you caused and not for the words it’s better to use these words on someone’s face instead of planning and plotting against them and use the same words behind their back.

I don’t hate the way she talks to elder members because respect is earned by actions of a person and not by relationship status and we all know the CN members don’t deserve that respect from anyone let alone Sai.

As I have said many times I like Sai as a character and when you like something you don’t see any fault in that so I am biased towards her character and won’t say much because what are counted as her mistakes are the only thing I like about this character except her impulsiveness and repetitive words which are the things in her behaviour which I can justify so there is nothing. I liked Virat too but when they showed him justifying domestic violence now what to say about this and before his this behaviour was shown I didn’t counted his mistakes much.
