Wow! Very very well written. On the same page with you two.

Personally I don't even feel the emotional connect from Virat's side. That's what Patralekha believes and wants us to believe. But I do earnestly feel that he should keep Patralekha far away and not let her butt in at every opportunity she gets.

Every person has some 'core' characteristics which define them. They are hard to change, some characteristics might be dormant as well because no body would have challenged them in that way that they are seen. The 'core' characteristics which are seen by people define them, till that point of time. These characteristics are seen irrespective of the situations. We form opinions on people based on these traits/behavior. Sai and Virat would have fallen (already) for each other for these characteristics. There is no way you can deny or go back to negate these character traits. Sai would have easily fallen for Virat for what he was before they got married. Same applies to Virat, and we have seen it clearly how he fell in love with her in this one year.

Yesterday, we have seen Sai who was in love. She already gave her heart to the Virat she has fallen for may be from the day of their marriage or later. Virat's character is such till then.

Now what is dormant in Virat only came forward when he fell in love with Sai. He was jealous, possessive, rude and 'abusive' to the extent of applying force on her. These come forward due to circumstances. Sai triggered them in him. These dont nullify his otherwise strong characteristics that make him a person nor his love for her. This is a stage where is trying to navigate his own emotions and find a path that is best for them. He reacted in a way that he knows the best, that would have lowered his pain. I still believe he would have eventually moved away from Sai, without the accident. He would have craved for her, and reached out to her. May be Sai would not have reached out to him due to her inbluild walls. This is the projected understanding of his character, according to me.

Long story short, Sai's feelings yesterday did not come to me as surprise. Those are the emotions she always had for Virat, which came out unfiltered due to her vulnerable state. Nor Virat's reponse was overboard. He looked natural in all his responses. His actions never negated his love. His actions were his inability to deal with the situations. But, his love was independent of situations or people.

PS: I still love the plot and the characters. Sai and Virat are what they are. They are not butchered according to me. They are real and relatable.

Yes they are real and relatable because just like Sai there are many girls out there who tolerates verbal abuse even being independent.. Sorry I have offended you.. ❤️

However I have slightly different views than you..

Sai is seeking him because she wants to relive the moments when virat would give all his attention towards her ..It is kind of she is used to that attention... She would have reacted the same way if Aaba was there in place of Virat... 😆

its natural for anyone to behave like this when she is in such vulnerable state.. On top of that He has been the only man in her life after KJ with whom she shared her sorrows and joy every aspects of her life.. She is extremely emotionally attached to him.. I don't know whether she loves him or not but she always had a thing for him since they met just like other teens.. 😆It's quite natural..

However I agree with your most of the points.. Nice observation by you and also the topic maker..

Personally I am not stressing about whether Virat loves her or not....I am more keen on seeing Sai's journey.. I understand her current state of mind very well even though it's quite disturbing to watch how she is craving for his attention 😔I am waiting for the day when she will come out his shadow and start her own journey..

Right now I don't think so her solo journey would start. Probably later but right now as it is not viable. Sairat trended today again... So anyone would cash in on the reigning trend. They won't get a new lead for Sai at the moment. There is no guarantee that Sai might get a better lead. She might even get worse making her regret her decision. Sai's solo journey may or may not work for TRPs. Mostly the latter.

That's where Virat goes wrong again and again. During the cafe drama, when V-P was alone, he maintained that boundary, he was clear of his feelings. At that point, he had a fresh heartbreak from the anniversary fiasco but he was stern and clear. I loved him there. However, this clarity just vanishes in front of Sai. Just once and for all, can't he clear his 2-day love to both Sai and Samrat... I am sure both will laugh and regret losing one year of their married life over such a joke of a love story.

I hate him calling her Dost, Pakhi (that tone... Uggghhhh). If he can't call her bhabhi, don't keep any relationship as simple as that. Don't seek for her support, out of all family members which includes your mother by holding hands. Even if Virat does not mean anything, delusional Patralekha will dig out a different meaning that will suit her narrative.

Virat too, left his so called love/ bestfriend's wedding, had exclusive reach to Sai in safe house and used to follow her orders whether to sanction Kamal Sir's VRS or to make sure that he took his medicines on time. There was a deeper bond between them then than Virat-Pakhi could ever think of. I still believe the day Virat reached Gadchiroli to save Sai from forced marriage with Jagtap and she emotionally runs past Virat towards Aaba to hug him, Virat expected a hug then. When he was with Sai, he would not think about Pakhi, however, when he talked to Pakhi, it was all about Sai.

The misplaced feeling of love towards Pakhi was a mental block for Virat which he transferred towards Sai. It's not that she does not love him, she does, she does everything from Day 1 for his sake. She just waits for him to say from his mouth. If he says he does not love Pakhi, Vaada is null and void and that Pakhi is nothing to him, not even a friend, she would happily accept the marriage, he might not even have to confess his love.

But this constant difference between words and actions, this hot and cold behaviour, this siding with Pakhi against his wife is what it makes it difficult for Sai and the audience to justify him.

Both Sai and Virat are fire... She by her words, he by his actions and both do not know the boundaries when it comes to each other. I didn't mind the lock-up drama as much as the ousting one because she managed to escape, in a way answered him back in his own language. Till the time, it's between them, it's fine.

However, I totally loathe the presence of Pakhi in their room at odd hours, the midnight chit chat, the 'hum' he used for them, the right he has given to her to walk over his wife, even his sister and mother, the protective instinct he has for her, even after Samrat is back. I tried understanding that but gave up.

I still believe he doesn't love her, he never did, but this emotional connect thing is going beyond the lines.

He did everything to hurt sai and to maintain his image. He never loved pakhi. He is a self absorbed man .He only thinks about himself but if anyone wants to start a family this won't work out. That's why this track gave me the vibe he never can be a one woman man after a point of time.

True, this relationship at this point looks like that of convenience, where a minor inconvenience felt with his wife and he just goes to side with his ex cum bhabhi/ obsessive whose intentions are already known, not only him but also by his wife. What will she think, she will think na that he is not over his ex and that there is no future for their relationship. Again in future doing the same, repeating the cycle, will keep her insecurities intact. How does such a relationship work for a longer duration... It won't.

I like this journey where they hold hands and make each other part of their individual journeys. That is 'marriage' for me. There will be pull and tug initially because each one wants to tread their own path first, but eventually they will find balance and peace. Till then, is what makes a good story, after that it is just an epilogue 😆

Who wants another lead for Sai 😆...That sounds quite unrealistic.. Why she would need another man to become her anchor.. though I agree with you that she needs another push to get out of his shadow..

I don't think Virat is irredeemable.. He is a good person.. But he has to learn hardest way.. I would love to his solo journey without Sai as well..

Trps can be still high even with their solo journey.. It depends on how they will bring the drama elements keeping the USP of the show..

When Virat was leaving GC after she asked him to leave, when he wrote his Nagpur address and was about to leave, Sai needed him even then. He entered her life at an age and stage of her life, when one can easily get attached. He was her Dad’s student whom her Dad has a high opinion of. He was that guy who saved her from Jagtap. He probably was her first crush too and so she used to get possessive and jealous whenever he used to be on phone with Pakhi. She wanted him to look at her as a young woman probably since she was entering her adulthood. She probably was expecting his attention as a man to a woman especially when she heard some other girl’s name from his mouth. She has always suppressed such feelings ever since he brought up deal marriage, ever since she saw how important Pakhi actually was after their marriage, ever since she saw how attached Pakhi and Virat were.

She loved him or not, but she started to become his wife, wanted to and liked to be his wife. She tolerated his family and their atrocities to stay close to this guy to whom her Dad chose to give her responsibility. She trusted her Dad’s choice too and it made him an even more eligible groom for her.

She ascertained her rights as a wife many a times and fought for it when he got shot. Her hopes crashed with what she heard at the pool. Pakhi was saying how they planned to spend their life together, about their dreams and the promise he made to her. Not that it wasn’t known to her but she heard it from her mouth directly and it hurt her a lot. She took back all the steps that she took forward.

She secretly has been wishing that he says that he likes her and wants to spend his life with her. It has come out as disappointment whenever he says that she is only his responsibility.

At the end. she gave up when he started to give her signals that someone else was more important for him and that she was just a guest/responsibility in his life.

But when she was in her most vulnerable state, she needed him. She didn’t think about anything else and if there is really someone else in his life but she wanted him, his support, his saath. The wishes, the feelings that she had suppressed all the while had come out when she felt very weak, emotionally and physically. He was there in the hospital next to her even after everything and she just didn’t want to leave him this time.

She left him even when she didn’t want to, and in this state, she didn’t hesitate to express what she actually wanted. All she wanted was him to be with her, for him to give her some strength when she felt too weak. She considers him as her apna (which he always wanted to hear from her) and that’s why his presence in the room was needed by her when she was afraid. Generally, a person gets overwhelmed after surgery and want to have their dear ones with them. They feel too weak, scared, emotional and wants reassurance from their dear ones and for Sai, she wanted it all from Virat. She always wanted to be able to call him as her husband, the only legal relation she has after her aaba and she didn’t want to let him go since she needs him.
