I hope Salya doesnt die..that would be so so horrible! and I am starting to think that the show would be simply miserable to watch when Aswad will torture Mehreen!

The most powerful scene was mehreen telling mashal that she doesn't love Aswad. She wants him only bec mehreen wants him, and even if mehreen gives up aswad, she would want saffan😲 Mashals whole existence is about not letting mehreen have any peace or happiness in life. Her character is despicable but the last 10 mins of the show where she gets flashbacks about everyone praising mehreen , and her own mother asking her to be like mehreen were fabulous. She doesn't show it but mashal had serious pathological issues ..probably her parents or she herself could never identify it..her mother is to be blamed for it..she passed her inferiority complex to mashal..a girl who was good in her own right never got the appreciation she deserved...like ..if mehreen was out of the picture , mashal is smart , beautiful, rich n has everything one could wish for..but...she was always seen in comparison to mehreen. Very sad .

She went to such great lengths to ruin mehreen and ultimately she died to ruin her completely..what level of jealousy and insecurity !

But what's with aswad ? They have written him.so badly. Here he is telling mashal that they were never romancing . So if he doesn't love her enuf to take a stand for their marriage , why would he marry and torture mehreen to take revenge of mashals death ? (I am guessing this is the story ..from the ost ) . Aisa toh pagal premi karte hain.

Thats what I thought too - Mashal had her own sets of talents - she sings well too - maybe she wasnt all that academically, but was very talented in something else? Her mother is an evil woman to constantly berate and compare Mashal to Mehreen - but this happens in our society everywhere - maybe with not the same intensity - but cousin rivalry is usually because of dim witted adults comparing their kids with each other!

Mashal is too pyschologically damaged ..she hates Mehreen not because she is jealous of her - but because she was always made to feel inferior when compared to Mehreen by others around her..which has resulted in her being a pathological liar where she apes the champion and winner side of Mehreen because thats what everyone wanted her to be. Kubra deserves an award for this show - just for that last scene of episode 8 - man she was incredible!! I think she is also under clinical depression. But I am not sympathetic towards her either - at the end of the day, it was in her hands to let go of the bitterness and not make Mehreen's life hell, just because she was academically the more intelligent one. Killing off the bird, almost trying to kill Mehreen by taking away her inhaler..Mashal is a pyscho in her own right, even outside her mother's horrible imprint on her.

Ofcourse what Mehreen had to go through because of Mashal's complexes is NOT justified by any means - she was hated because she was intelligent and a winner??! Thats just so tragic! I Which has resulted in Mehreen being flawed and dark in her own way, which was confirmed when she agreed to marry Aswad.

Totally. But I feel like Aswad will be projecting his own guilt by blaming mehreen. He can totally do that. He did it by turning the whole affair thing on mashal. Mashal's suicide may look as if it's triggered by jealousy. But I feel it has layers. It's Aswad who drove her to the edge.

Mehreen was right. Mashal wants whatever mehreen wants. But they're together since childhood. No matter how psycho mashal is, she's bound to have genuine feelings for Aswad. I'm disliking Aswad more than mashal now and it's weird cause I rarely dislike a hero more than the antagonist character😆

Well ..I saw this interview of usman in which he said that he refused to do some manhandling scenes..they toned it down for him..but it's gonna be there ..it will be implied or shown explicitly , doesn't matter..

Like they didn't show much between mashal and mehreen..but we got the drift ..its very heavy

Yes what they r showing is reality ..hota hai aisa ..even without an external source , ppl r constantly comparing themselves to others and develop complexes..its unfortunate..but real..
