See for sickand it is about TRP. He doesn't care about educating the audience about telegu culture. If it is about trp, he will cater to the audience that watches the show. I'm sure they do get region wise trps and hence the decision to show more of Maharashtrian customs.

Her mangalsutra is telegu style as per many posts I saw in the forum. For the audience, she's wearing a telegu style mangalsutra.

Again, India is very vast and has many smaller cultures in each state, it is possible that this is actually a telegu style mangalsutra which is also worn by Tamilians. Like I said I'm neutral to either customs so I don't care what they show.
