This is so true. After their first break up in the hospital when Sonakshi got back with him, I found it very difficult to understand Sonakshi. No sensible girl would have accepted him back in her life. Logic and maturity fails miserably in this case. He keeps telling that he loves her and I have always felt he makes use of her. There is never been a time in their relationship where I found him as a giver. People might quote second season saying , he was supporting her and helping her as a professional. But what I felt is , it was his need to be with his children that made him do that which in turn helped Sonakshi to pursue her career a lil early post delivery.

Even in this season when she wanted to go back to her house with kids. He stopped her thinking it would affect their kids not because he wants her in his life. He said kids also need him. There has never been an instance where I thought Dev loves her unconditionally. He just needs her around. Though I would love to see a seen wherein he shows it through his deeds , in front of all that he loves Sonakshi unconditionally.

The reality is majority dont seem to understand this factor that making use of a person's presence in life is very different from loving a person unconditionally. Never understood why its difficult to show a man showing respect for his wife and loving her unconditionally. The reality is in our society "THERE ARE" men who loves and respect their wife but sadly I have never seen this factor shown in any serials.

This show is watched by thousands of people and I really hope they show Dev's respect and unconditional love for Sonakshi through this track and there by redeem him completely. It will also be a learning for people who think men cant respect their wife and love her unconditionally.

Bold: He admitted in the counseling session that it wasn't the kids. He was upset that she was leaving HIM. Dev has this paranoia that they would be separated. He has always had this fear since their first break-up in the hospital. And justified too. She was his air to breathe, to relieve himself of the suffocating relationship with his mother.

For people who love this show , its never been Dev Vs Sonakshi. Its been Dev for Sonakshi and Sonakshi for Dev.😊 Whenever they have brought even slightest hint of third angle I have disliked it . Probably because I believe a love story as deep as Dev and Sonakshi ( at least that is how this show started ) doesnt require a third angle to spice up the story. I feel when you love someone deeply , you dont need the presence of third person to understand the importance of each other. But many a times , this story has wavered from its original track confusing me.

Initially when this show started , I was so amused by the way , this story was translated on to the screen . Especially the dialogues. This show was not just treat for the eyes but also for the ears. There was beauty in every frame . Sadly that perfection that I am looking for seems to be lost.

Sometimes I think , the writers freedom is kind of restricted when the fear for TRP pops up and thats when they waver from the original track. Their first two promos clearly stated what the story is going to be. Its Dev incapability to go against his mothers obsessive love/expectation makes him loose that balance in his marriage and life. More than that he needs to accept that his blind love for his mom is a problem. Unless he accepts that openly he will never be able to find a solution. This is one aspect of life to solve a problem we need accept that there is a problem. Living in denial can only increase the problem and not solve it....Just a thought , I could be wrong.

Now a days lot of old people are neglected

In western countries there are old age homes which is in good condition even if the old people can’t afford govt will take care of them there.( social security )

There are luxury ones there too

It is s practice people to be not dependent on others Most children move out of parents house once they are adult

But in India many parents sacrifice for children or get possessive or what ever , later part many old people are abandoned.

It happens ...Even rich people once ignored by children they go to all kind of problems

If Dev start to ignore Ishu or send her away at tins point of life she will suffer from “ broken heart syndrome”

After all she is an old lady and when Sona speaks rudely to Ishu now a days even though upset later “ Maa & Sanakshi talk back...act as if nothing happened

Without Dev’s knowledge can even come up with Sonerswary ways ( as a team) 😅😅😅both

Plans to keep Varmas out of Sohayush lives🤣🤣

Dev may not or he does not want to change , he may be fears he will loose his Maa

As you told he may have paranoias of Sona will leave him for any time she gets angry on him

What ever it is Devaskshi both of them are not matured according to their age marriage counseling is a good track

It really good

I am not really looking to see Devaskshi’s physical attraction ( only that was there from the beginning ) it is their “ souls “ that must be closer

We humans only have that kind of connections to the partners ,( animal world we can see rarely lik Hornbills & swans ) 🥰🥰 Dev & Sona must raise to that level .

Physical attraction is good but now they must get connected to each others souls

😂😂😂

Bold 2:

I can't see that happening. Because Sona is his best friend. Dev has been an introvert, and doesn't have lot of friends. It was Sona who became his friend, his closest friend and that is one of the biggest foundations of their relationship.

Even now, she tells him that she is his friend first and he needs to talk to her as a friend. They seem to revisit that aspect mainly as they work on their marriage. So for him to find a new best friend will be odd, according to me!

so she will not be his friend and they cannot show him getting attracted towards her so why did they even bring her? to copy star plus for its 3rd angles🤣

I couldn't agree more with all of this post!

You are so right, the show was such a treat to the eyes and ears. The dialogs were just gold.

I agree that Dev and Sona love each other very deeply, so a third angle brought in for them to realize their importance in each other's life is very silly. But I think the makers want some spice and an increase in TRPs, so they are going this way.

Can't state for sure.

I think most Kuch Rang fans will agree with me that Dev isn't the kind of person to connect and confide in some random outsider right away. That is why he was hesitant to go to see the counselor, but he told Sona he will do it one time for her. So for him, to bond with the new girl, it's going to take several episodes.

Of course, this is how it will be, if the writers understand how much of an introvert he is, what drives him, what he gives importance to. Unfortunately, I don't trust the S3 writers to do justice to who he really is.

As for the new girl, I can see if she is infatuated with him and pursues him. And since Devakshi are working on their marriage, it might lead to some strain. But for Dev to suddenly become friends and more with the new girl, is too clichéd and won't be in sync with his personality at all.
