Thinking back to all the episodes with Pritam especially the recent ones, I realized that there is one thing that sets him apart from all the other grey heroes/anti-heroes we have seen over the years. Pritam is frightening! I have never come across an ITV hero who is menacing. They have been smart, angry, calm, serious, and morally ambiguous but never scary. No wonder Amrita gets so scared.

In all the promos he looked like every other ML but as the show is progressing we are seeing a different and quite a unique ML. I don't recall ever seeing any ITV hero killing any animal before and the way he behaved with that gang member was very unique.

True I totally agree with you Never in ITV a lead is shown with such an enigmatic and menacing presence. The makers are taking a huge risk showing him in such a frightening light and he truly feels like a anti hero. He is broken, angry , emotionally distant and most of all don't give a Danny about anyone.

Just hope they won't whitewash him. That's something I am afraid of.

For now I can only think of Viraj Dobriyal who sorta falls into that category. But he was both the villain and the hero there while Pritam is the hero so I guess whitewashing will be there. It's inevitable unfortunately
