I am really sorry if my words sounded like Pawandeep won the show as a prefixed scripted winner by the channel. 😢

I made the comment as a general public, not as Arunita fan in reply to a comment what set Pawandeep apart from others. Yes, I missed the ‘finale’ word in Adi’s statement but the fact remains same imo. Please don’t misread my comment ‘confirmed winner’ as ‘scripted winner’. 😊 ‘Confirmed winner’ in a sense that the influence of existing vote bank in gearing up the popularity. 👏 People perception matters irrespective of actual performance and in case of a genuine talent, the people perception has a cumulative synergistic impact. 👍🏼 Please reread ‘confirmed winner’ in my comment along with the next line to understand what I intend to mean. 😳 All these were written to discuss what set him apart from the others, not to disobey/undermine his hard work in the show.

We may argue on the size and significance of initial vote bank but it is true that he had a fan base before joining II due to his achievement in Voice and footsteps in main music stream in last few years. When you say Pawandeep was the front runner from the Day 1 of a 10 months long competition, that also echoes the same. 😊

The discussion topic ‘what sets Pawandeep apart’ itself leads to the concept of ‘confirmed winner’ at the beginning. 😊

Now why the II winners are perceived as scripted winner since II10 that is a separate topic for discussion. Any credit/discredit goes to II creative team for this. The winner has nothing to do with this unless it is proved that he/she joined the show with a condition to declare him/her the winner.

I said ‘good bye’ to this forum earlier and hesitated to write again. I really late for this but I actually managed to finish the 12hrs finale of II12 like right now.😆

I thought it was going to be a boring lengthy show but it surpassed all my expectations. It was really spectacular and so grand. Looked almost like an award show. And am so glad that our finalists were rocking the stage like real superstars. Felt so proud of seeing Pawan, Arunita, Danish, SMP, Nihal and Sayli giving the last greatest performances. They owned the stage. And more to it, i loved seeing Nachiket performing. I used to love him impersonating a character and performing. The beautiful thing about II12 journey is not who is better than the other, but the beautiful friendships and bonds they all created within the year. Hope it lasts for a long long time. And 10 years from now, i do hope to hear them on many popular playlists songs and probably winning song of the year award if am not asking for too much. Wishing a long successful career to all the contestants.

I can’t believe Danish’s father is saying these things about Pawan winning the trophy!
He reallly thought Danish was better! 😳 I understand he is a father but this is another case of sour grapes.
Danish had weird expressions during some performances but other than that he seemed to get along well with others. He got more popular by posting blogs and being more active on SNS. Even Mamaji got so much exposure and seemed to get along well with others.
I still can’t believe he is implying that Pawan was not worthy of the trophy!
Not done! A father should not say such things on public platform and to top it Danish posted it on his YouTube channel that means he approves!! Sad!

All I want to say is that we had to bear his son doing unneeded aalaps. So many times I had to lower the volume. If he had not done that he would have had a better run.
