The opening scene where Aastha’s encouraging dialogues are what every student needs! When she says to Anokhi “ you can consider this performance as your take-off” that actually came true for Deba , KV and all cast 😍😁🙌! Reema is missing in the initial episodes , with mostly local actors from Punjab perhaps? 😊

Shaurya seems to have a cantankerous relationship with father and a very resentful relationship with his mother. Shaurya begrudges that his mother chose her career over her family. And from Tejvi’s description, the loss of his wife turned Shaan into an absentee father and a drunkard.

Shaurya’s life experience has caused him to have an unrealistic and unfair requirement for his wife. It’s good to know what you want in a spouse but to dictate another’s life choice should not be in any other person’s hand. I love how confused Kanchan is that Shaurya is facing this in a “love marriage”. This just shows how much love was actually in ShaSha relationship. It’s also interesting how his requirements for a spouse was all about him and not about the spouse. Oh how the winds will change when the toofan that is our Jugni shows up in his life!

Shaurya’s utter disappointment in an absentee dad and a missing point is pretty evident in his face.
Lol did you listen to what Bade Papa says when reprimanding Shaan for slighting Badi Maa? “ If Devi didn’t come into Shaurya’s life , then he wouldn’t have been able to take a single right decision” . If only he knew of future Shaurya and his decisions. 🤪😂😂

(sooo do we have BM to thank, for Shakhi?!🙄😄)

Rama Bhalla is such a strong character. She cowers in front of her husband but still protects her child in whatever manner she can. This time it was to step in front and hit Anokhi(more gently that Ramesh would have). Rama is also pragmatic. She knows that leaving her husband isn’t a realist option for a woman with no means. But it’s Anokhi’s dreams that leaves me in awe. Her purpose is to study, but not for the love of learning, but because education gives you wings. And like Anokhi says “wings are made for flying”. But Anokhi doesn’t want to succeed for just herself, she does it so that she can ground herself so solidly that she can take her mother to a more secure place in the future. Such a tiny dream that many take for granted. The ability to learn freely, pursue dreams but also have a sense of safety and security at home.

The conversation between Anokhi and her mom after the thappad is so heart breaking.

When Mrs.Bhalla says “ where will I go after leaving my husband. My parent’s family is also part of the same society that imposes these rules on women” , it’s hard hitting!

A sad reality in many Indian households, where the mother is always blamed for the son’s or daughter’s rebellious traits.

On a lighter note..I noticed she was feeding Anokhi Rajma Chawal 😍😋😋 They even took care of including Punjabi khana 😁🙌

Shaurya might not feel loved by his parents but he has such male privilege to move about the world freely and unquestioned. Anokhi is lucky enough to feel loved by one parent, but lives restricted in a cage built by her other parent. Shaurya sulks at his situation while Anokhi is a hustler who will persevere.

🙌🙌🙌 Absolutely!

@bold : Anokhi and Deba ka Hustler connection? 😁🙌😍
Same precap.

Thoughts?

I’m slowly filling in the reviews of these episodes as I watch. I’m Greeen 🤗
