I just can't get past Farhan playing a new boxer in his 40s.  It's ridiculous.

Age wise it would be akin to Deepika playing a burgeoning gymnast.

deepika is about 15yrs younger than him

Salman is older than him and has done a similar role

The point is Deepika like Farhan would already be a decade plus past retirement age for that sport - let alone beginning.

Competitive gymnasts start as children and most retire in their late teens or early 20s.  Boxers start in the late teens and hit their peak in their late twenties /early thirties.  Even in the first (and only great) Rocky where he's already a journey man boxer on the edge of being over Stallone and Rocky were 28.   There are comebacks and attempted comebacks in the mid 30s or even 40 but these are by long established boxers.  They're also usually a very bad idea - see Muhammad Ali.

Saw the movie finally .

Average . Very poor screenplay and dialogues … the movie doesn’t hold your interest at all . The twist is so lame … it’s doesnt do justice to the sports genre at all . Everything is superficially glossed over .

The supposed “ twist “ in the movie as well as the climax is so lame .

Performances are ok as all the actors know their craft well but overall a very disappointing fare.
