I don't think she's doing this consciously. She is trying to figure things out but after the face off and fist fight with Mandaar they will be on the same page.

It's too much of a shock and she also explained that even after the case with Sunny she suspects there's a small chance Mandaar may be alive but she wants to confirm it before telling anyone, since it's such a sensitive topic.

When Keerti finds out she'll be even more pissed off because of Pallavi's determination to send the culprit to jail.
