The problem is probably more than just age gap - they are a generation apart. So it is possible that Sai may have more in common with Ajinkya than Virat, may relate to his viewpoints, attitudes, temperament etc . This is especially true in this fast moving times when there is a quite a difference in the temperament of teenagers separated by as narrow as three years.

So Virat feeling insecure about Ajinkya is understandable. Ofcourse the underlying problem is still the fact that theirs is not a normal marriage.

Bachhi hai dialogue did pissed off Sai really bad, just like Buzurg hai dailogue.

And during initial episode, all of us used to get irritated and rant whenever Sai was called bacchi by Virat or didi.

But yeah bacchi wala dialogue ke waqt things were different, now there are strong emotions playing here. Virat looks at himself from Sai's words, the way she behaves with him or the way she talks to him.

Virat ke liye aaj dil sach meiin dukha.

But that doesn't give him free pass to character assassinate Sai.

Yes, There are people who express their love and gratitude through touch with reluctance between Sairat when it came to physical proximity, I thought both weren’t comfortable with it, but FL hugs people casually, was it to highlight the difference in their age? I do think Virat has been trying to be her father for so long, she needs her father but they should have made distinctions between what a father does for a daughter vs what a husband does for his wife.

On top of it, they dressed her like a 5 year’s old and she has been talking like one for a few days now, then the ashirvad scene and orphan dialogue, it was like Virat is taking place of her father

I don’t think he is trying to be her father . No father figure will flirt , plan to propose with a ring on her birthday.In the past too he has done things which only a lover or husband can do . He is trying to do everything her father did on her birthday so she doesn’t feel left out .

Sai in the college feat was ogling at Virat on the stage . In past , Sai took blessings only from people she genuinely respected and held them at high regard . After her Aaba it’s Virat . Taking blessings were common among husband and wife in olden days so it doesn’t put Virat in her father’s shoes . She needs to display her affection like a wife does in her bedroom.

Its because they lack communication.

Virat wants to confess but Sai doesn’t let him move forward because of the vaada. And Sai wants to hope but Virat doesn’t clear the roadblocking vaada thing by clearing that up. They are in a deadlock situation.

Neither lets the other move forward. This will continue building up and will result in a tremendous burst of pent up frustrations one day. Thats how they will be able to move on. Once they let loose the shackles of fear of hurting themselves and each other and let out their insecurities.

Even then I don’t want it to be through a su*c*de track. Because that might also leave deep wounds

Sorry to interfer , or I m sounding rude then again sorry but saitar comparison with father daughter relationship is like insulting that pious relationship coz when virat dint realise his feelings then also he was not like her fatherly image.
