No reasons for insecurity

I was trying to understand why is Virat so insecure and is lacking self confidence when it comes to Ajinkya ? If we look at his position , he is just 27 yr old IPS officer , well settled and we have seen how the girls go Gaga for him in the Sai’s school and in college as well . He is good looking , comes from a well respected family and is appears to be a cool officer who can dance , sing and play music . Why would he be insecure of Ajinkya who has only age on his side .

Because Sai isn't giving the bhau (whose bhau he needs). He doesn't care about what world thinks of him. He wants to know what Sai thinks of him. Might also be because Sai never told what type of guy she has preference for. Whether of her same age, or may be younger or older. Whether of same profession, or different.

Many doctors actually end up with their fellow doctors because they understand the importance and needs of the profession. Ajinkya being of Sai's age and same profession, may give Virat a food for thought that their understanding level might be high between them.

My heart broke for Virat today. I understood 100% where his insecurities are coming from.

He is a man completely in love. It doesn't matter what his age is, what his profession is, or how settled he is. Love overpowers all rationality and other emotions.

Even though he can see that Sai is falling in love with him through certain actions of her's, he is getting no reassurance from her. Every time he tries to do something for her, she brings up the vaada and the zimidari. And I understand where she is coming from in this regard, too, as I have written in numerous other posts. But, focusing on Virat here. He is scared of losing her. He is scared that she will never accept this relationship as real. He is scared that he is too old for her and that she will find someone she is more compatible with.. and the manifestation of that is Ajinkya. And, I understand why the age thing is bothering him. Sai's intentions are pure when joking about it, but from his perspective, he is already insecure about this, and Sai keeps on tugging at it. Bringing up an insecurity over and over again is more than enough for someone to get pushed over the edge about it.

He sees the way that Sai looks at him, and she even expressed how much she admired, respected, and was thankful to him today. Despite all of this, he is getting no verbal affirmations of this relationship from her... just like she isn't getting any verbal affirmations that clearly are allowing her to move on from the vaada just like he is. Both of them are stuck in similar positions in this way, and that is why to me, both of their insecurities are heartbreaking.

It sai who is fueling his insecurities by constantly passing nasty comments on him under disguise of joke.

Nitu, sai rude words did made impact on him, as virat don't keep making tamasha it doesn't mean he is immune to insults remember she shouted she will not marry him if he was d last man on this earth , he know she was forced to marry him as he was not her first choice , her constant rant of leaving him , find various ways to insult him .

He know Ajinkya is no match to him but sadly this man is in love that's why getting insecure.

He badly needs to go away from all this , I hope makers send him away😭

Sai is not like other girls of her age .She doesn’t have a family of her own and will a guy of her age understand her emotional needs and fight with his family to accept their relationship if needed like Virat does . Can Ajinkya do what Virat is doing for her today . She doesn’t just need a husband but a mentor , guide and to certain extent may need to support het financially too ( like Virat did when she didn’t have scholarship money ) . When will Ajinkya settle in his life to provide her this ? Does all this questions cross Virat’s mind ?

I don't really get Sairat dynamics because Virat has been trying to act like FL's father for a long time now, the other day when she said that he is doing everything for an orphan and she wants to touch his feet, his emotions were of pure bliss "Itne ache sanskar diye hai Maine isko" type.

You know it's understandable. My niece is 18 and she finds anyone above 23 old. 😂

The problem is probably more than just age gap - they are a generation apart. So it is possible that Sai may have more in common with Ajinkya than Virat, may relate to his viewpoints, attitudes, temperament etc . This is especially true in this fast moving times when there is a quite a difference in the temperament of teenagers separated by as narrow as three years.

So Virat feeling insecure about Ajinkya is understandable. Ofcourse the underlying problem is still the fact that theirs is not a normal marriage.

Virat is not acting as father but he is doing this as husband only , makers r showing sai do dumb that she can't differentiate b/w a fatherly love & husbandly love . Sai is not that dumb like she portray herself.

God knows how many times she had seen virat organizing birthday for orphanage.

She clearly enjoys virat's advances & attention then portray it had been a favour on an orphan🤪

when Sai said he is doing it for a orphan he was taken aback but smiled when she spoke about how generous he is . I think his persecutive changed when he saw how Sai reacted to Ajinkaya’s surprise versus his . When Ajinkya surprised her she thanked him with a hug whereas for him it was through touching his feet .

I was wondering the way they have shown physical proximity being a huge deal for these two, I was actually surprised that FL expresses her gratitude with hugs.
