Still I tried to convince myself that she did all these for Virat who asked her to adjust. Unfortunately when she threw challenge that looked more like a spoilt brat .

TBH I connect with Sai more that virat. Because her character is flawed but she is sensible. I liked her unapologetic nature. She doesn't do anything to please anyone and she is extremely focused.

Yeah even when she told Virat chunauti jeet gayi she looked like a brat.. I do think Virat's words have made an effect on her..It does most of the times...But her bratty attitude and I am right attitude has to be curbed down.. She needs to see the repercussions of her impulsive actions..And yet then I see some positives in Sai as compared to the regional counterparts..

@bold yes I do I connect with Sai more and love both..Her not getting gift from her scholarship money for anybody apart from the people who she loved was too good and she told exactly how she loves Kaku the way she loves her back.. I loved her that way.. But probably they are trying to melt the trimurtis.. But along with that one has to also remember she is very forgiving by nature.. That has been established from the beginning and looks like its still there..

I did like the conversation between the two in yesterday's episode and kind of like that Virat is so understanding towards her lack of understanding.. He understands her and does not mind the lack of it. That again is a huge improvement in him towards Sai.. However I have to see how they play out the whole insecurity track to see if he has gone through growth or still stuck there at his angry beyond reasoning self. He has had a lot of control on his anger recently. All in all we need to remember , both are new to love and relationship and one is actually just stepped into adulthood after having an extremely unmemorable association with an opposite gender.. The show is pretty realistic when it comes to love... Achanak pyaar ho gaya, achanak possesive ho gaye aise nahi.. Pushing pulling, manhandling...in the name of romance...none of the two are that way...Virat treats a young hardly adult wife the way she should be treated .

She had ensured Kaku stays back in the reception, she did take their blessings after her results, even before her college admission right when they were at the door, she ran and touched their feet. It is just that at the end of the day, they are all elders of the family even when she teaches them or argues that even elders can learn from kids.

The only issue I had was when she told Pulkit at the auditorium that whatever it is, she made it happen.

That attitude didn’t go well with me.

Yes she made it happen but even if she accepts she was wrong, her method was wrong, was happy with her success. It is exactly at times like this that one see her immaturity and her age playing a part.

She did apologise to them and even admitted to Virat that she was very wrong but her next statement to Virat that they wanted her to challenge them got me confused. I could see a teenager who is thrilled at winning some challenge. I think it was a mix of many things, like they are someone whom Virat values, they are the elders of the family, they are the only family she has , also they are people who always keeps claiming that she should follow the rules since she is a bahu, so her expectation that they also fulfill something from their side and probably even her thrill to win the challenge. I hope she mends her ways in the future now that Virat also had specifically told her that she was wrong in it. From how I see, she looks at the results, she only sees whether her intentions to achieve that results is right or not and gets happy about it even if she realises that her method was wrong. She has to start looking at the ways she is achieving it too and try to mend it.

@italics even I like that she doesn’t do anything to please people, she does them genuinely, naturally.

Bold- Even I tried to put it that way. Then I thought all those circumstances required different actions. Sai stopping Kaku in the reception is completely different from this one because end of the day it was her who would have been blamed .Its our culture that we take blessings from elders before we start anything good so Sai did it. Here it was NOT as important as those ones. If she did it for Virat she simply can politely request them to attend still Virat would have been happy seeing her afford. The whole challange thingy made her a juvenile.🤢

Ashwini who does so much for her she should have called her on stage to give the award. Though I think she called Kaku to melt her because of her antics. Also that long speech with full details in front of all was not necessary.

Having said that I still come to a conclusion that you can't live with so much toxicity around. May be she wanted to reduce that to make CN environment bit lighter since she will have to stay here for 5 years. So she needs to mingle with all.

She's trying to melt trimurti in her style for several reasons.

1. Because she wants peace. Cant live somewhere antagonizing everyone. She wants to achieve truce. And the nice thing is that even though she is trying to placate them she hasnt changed her personality fully. She wont stoo being a mufhat. But she is trying to see their pov.

2. Because of virat she also cares about them. Because they are important to him. She thinks of them as an extension of virat. If he is her family, by default they are too.

3. She doesn't want them to keep targeting virat fot her sake. They get pissed of when he supports her abd virst gets trapped in between them so by getting them to warm up to her she hopes virat won't get attacked by them. She feels guilty when virat is blamed.

4. Sai is stubborn and this has truly become her new challenge. To get family to accept her. So she will do everything to get them to bend. Virat had long ago told her to think of family ka dil jeetna as a challenge. She is doing that now.

Hmm, even though it looked like she stopped Kaku because she could be blamed, I could only see it as she stopped it because Virat said that Kaku is a very important person in his life. She wouldn’t have wanted Kaku to leave since Kaku was important to Virat.

I agree the challenge thing was stupid and wasn’t needed, there was no need to make them attend this way. It wasn’t right.

Oh yes, I too thought she should have asked Ashwini to award her, didn’t like that bit. Yes, she tried to correct her mistakes, she had wronged these 3 so gave them the honour of awarding her but I would have still liked to see her calling Ashwini as well. She was always awarded by her Aaba, then it would have been nice to see Ashwini being called.

The speech part was something I have heard many disliking. Though it wasn’t needed, it looked kind of natural to me owing to the fact that she has got awarded for the first time after she is away from her Dad. She felt emotional that she had so many people in her life despite the fact that she turned into an orphan. It somehow looked to me like how she doesn’t hesitate or acts without filters, she didn’t think much before thanking everyone from the family. She really felt thankful she had so many people and wasn’t alone I felt. It was also like an acknowledgment, to let these people know that she values them, is thankful to have so many people even if she has fought with them or even if they have not accepted her.

This is exactly what I was trying to point out to people when they were bashing Sai and questioning her motives for calling Trimurti to the function. Yes, she is stubborn and impulsive at times- part of that can be attributed to her age. But, more than that, her greater intentions are always pure. For one, it is not easy to constantly be bashed by so many elders in your household, especially when those elders mean so much to your husband. So on a very basic level, it makes sense for why she does not want to continue this drama every single day. One can only tolerate so much insults being thrown at themselves. But, above that, whether Sai realizes or admits it or not, she has accepted Virat and his family as her own. In fact, they are the only family she has. Virat's family are parts of him, so she wants to be loved and liked and have good relationships with them for his sake just as much as for her own sake. And your point about her being guilty when Virat is blamed is so true. This has become more evident lately, when she constantly defends him in her conversations with Trimurti when they drag him in. During the ruby dinner sequence, when kaku said Virat will think the relatives are making her cook instead of study and won't like it, she defended him and said he won't think any such thing. And even yesterday, in her own way, she told them to leave Virat out of it and that he doesn't need to know about their drama.

Bolded.

This is so important. People forget that abba was basically the only person Sai had in her life, and now he is gone too. She is also only 19 years old which is a very young age to be completely alone. Yes, she has Virat, and he loves and cares for her so deeply. But, the love and support of elders, namely mother and father figures, and just a family in general means something too. I personally loved the speech and thought it showed her innocence. She got so caught up in her emotions- remembering that the last award was presented to her by her father and that this time she has a new family supporting her.

I agree, my only disappointment was that she should have called Ashwini too. Yes, she had wronged them and wanted to apologise by giving them the honour of presenting her the award but she could have included Ashwini too I feel.

But I have other reasons to bash Sai on the same day 🤣🤣. The way she called them was copy paste or Sai the character did, it was wrong. The award was not just won by her, was won by Ajinkya too, so i don’t know why she didn’t thank him when she thanked so many people. May be fault in the script? Even though it looked cute, she got emotional and just before a few minutes Virat comforted her that she shouldn’t worry about the victory, I felt she should have shared her success with her partner, her friend first. I am having a mixed feeling about it because if I say have my family at a function like this, I probably would run to their arms first. But this is a college function, could be something the makers wanted to show to give us one more hug but I wasn’t happy with it that way. Thankfully, she did give him a hi fI after she came out of the hug. But I feel that she shouldn’t have forgotten her partner even if Virat was there. Anyway, these were all light hearted moments so I am not taking them too seriously as a flaw. She did talk about Ajinkya in a good way at home and even stopped Virat from making fun of her friend, I am happy that she did.

Yes, it would have been a lovely scene if she had called Ashwini too. Their bond is just so pure. Ashwini has supported Sai since day once and she accepted her when no one else did. I understood, though, that Sai wanted to call Trimurthi on stage in attempt to show her respect for them and make up for her antics in getting them to the festival in the first place. I think a part of her is just so desperate to be accepted by them that it is making her even more impulsive at times.

And as someone who absolutely loves SaiRat, I personally loved how she jumped into Virat's arms when she won the award. He is the person she wants to share all her happiness and victories with... yet another indication of how her feelings towards him have shifted in the direction of love. But, now that you say it, logically speaking, she truly should have thanked her dance partner aka Ajinkya 🤣

I dont think they had time to show her thank ajinkya and include ashwini. The whole calling people on stage was because she knows these 3 are egotistical. They like feeling important by things like this. Aai knows her importance in Sais life. She said i love you to aai openly on stage in front of all. She mentioned how they like this feeling of being chief guest, basically stoking their ego

If Sai had not been so emotional and done all the drama for getting trimurti to come, then maybe her soeech would have been more condensed to thank ajinkya her dance partner, hrt faculty especially pulkit sir and her family mainly her aai n husband. Full stop. Done. Lol
