It was very obvious and evident, definitely not what we would like to see. They have sugarcoated the whole thing and showed it to us I feel 🤣🤣. I won’t deny that a part of it was really nice. Will catch you in the other thread where sadiltl had tagged me soon 😊.

Oh I wasn't being kind. 😆 I absolutely meant it when I talked about your positive energy. Positive energy does not mean always writing optimistically or positively. The keen-ness to be objective and point out the mistakes that may be and being extremely polite with your view points is certainly very very positive for me. 😳

I too sometimes think too much to post something because people judge you. If you ask me, it is hard to see the characters objectively. People initially connect to a character and get attached to it. When the character behaves differently from the expectations, people try to justify 😅. I too have this conflict several times but it takes a lot of effort to keep all aside and look into characters. Your analysis is always unbiased i feel. So don’t refrain from posting your views. People like me would love to read it.

For the forum members I request everyone to think that we are discussing characters here. Not trying to reform the society through them. It is good if they show some message to the viewers through the popular characters because people love them. But it is hard for the creative team to stick with social responsibility and stick to the arc of the characters simultaneously. If we fight over how the characters should behave everyone will have an opinion and it turns into a debate. But If we analyze the characters and understand why they behave a certain way like Lakshmi does objectively, then we can have more fun. Just my 2 cents.

How I take things that in every relationship has so much to explore. Be it between spouses or anything else. Shows are meant to be larger than life so is the characters. But unnecessary stretching gets boring sometimes. SaiRat can never exist in real life. They are confessing their love every day through their actions but yet to start conjugal life. 😆 That zimmedari word now became monotonous .

Off late Sai's character turned little superficial for which I am unable to connect with her. Happy that she behaves like any other 19 Years old girl.

Even when SaiRat confess their love there would be so much to explore. The dynamics between them will change according to the situation. There would be another bumpy road ahead. If we look around all the couples are like that only. It's writers job how to balance reality and fiction.

Everyone has different opinions but some of us get so much emotionally attached to the characters that we tend to take opposite views negatively😆.

But it will be all okay once the show ends or may be after some years we may laugh at our own actions. We would be like "How funny it was "😆

So enjoy and have fun ❤️

That is sweet of you to say that, I just replied the same to Nethra too. Thanks, I don’t know what to say 🙈. You are being too kind.

@1st paragraph Very true, things becomes difficult only when we get attached to a character. Things become even more difficult when we get upset with a character, but they are just fictional characters at the end of the day. Also, when we are watching their story, it is very important that we try and understand both their point of views otherwise we would never be able to find the missing pieces. Forum has so many different point of views and I really like reading them. I then give a thought about those views too because I wouldn’t have thought a few things or I would have my own views about it. But when we really think about it, we can make sense out of a few contradicting views as well. We just need to keep our mind open and never dismiss them off as soon as we find them contradictory to our own views.

Here we also have posts justifying Patralekha understanding her.. like nethra said you do bring a lot of perspectives and positive energy here.. 🤗

Nah, I meant such mistakes done by both the leads in all shows? May be, I haven’t really paid attention in so much detail when I watch just the show and not write anything or read about them in a forum.

Yeah, even Pakhi is a character who should be understood. Thanks Asmi, you are being too kind.

@bold Exactly

Hmm, so what is it that you feel Sai the character has turned superficial? Is it due to her behaviour with the Chavans?

Kind of yes. She is performing in the college fest so naturally she would want her loved ones. Having only the ones who genuinely love her should be more than enough for her. Her obsession having Kaku and her minions to the fest looked OTT. Because She is very much aware of their criminal acts. Still I tried to convince myself that she did all these for Virat who asked her to adjust. Unfortunately when she threw challenge that looked more like a spoilt brat .

TBH I connect with Sai more that virat. Because her character is flawed but she is sensible. I liked her unapologetic nature. She doesn't do anything to please anyone and she is extremely focused.

@bold I don’t know if it is spoilt brat or not but I thought that she was calling them because Virat values them. She had ensured Kaku stays back in the reception, she did take their blessings after her results, even before her college admission right when they were at the door, she ran and touched their feet. It is just that at the end of the day, they are all elders of the family even when she teaches them or argues that even elders can learn from kids.

The only issue I had was when she told Pulkit at the auditorium that whatever it is, she made it happen.

That attitude didn’t go well with me.

Yes she made it happen but even if she accepts she was wrong, her method was wrong, was happy with her success. It is exactly at times like this that one see her immaturity and her age playing a part.

She did apologise to them and even admitted to Virat that she was very wrong but her next statement to Virat that they wanted her to challenge them got me confused. I could see a teenager who is thrilled at winning some challenge. I think it was a mix of many things, like they are someone whom Virat values, they are the elders of the family, they are the only family she has , also they are people who always keeps claiming that she should follow the rules since she is a bahu, so her expectation that they also fulfill something from their side and probably even her thrill to win the challenge. I hope she mends her ways in the future now that Virat also had specifically told her that she was wrong in it. From how I see, she looks at the results, she only sees whether her intentions to achieve that results is right or not and gets happy about it even if she realises that her method was wrong. She has to start looking at the ways she is achieving it too and try to mend it.

@italics even I like that she doesn’t do anything to please people, she does them genuinely, naturally.
