Right, and also because he felt neglected by his Dad, I think.

Now that I think about it, his Mother must have passed away (if she did) before Kirti entered his life, because he was already staying at Nishit's by then if I remember it right. So maybe he has passive aggression. He definitely has psychological issues. Using humor, fabricating lies could be his defense mechanism against the trauma he faced as a child. Also the way he told Kirti - "You are MINE. I found you first" makes it sound like he considered her as his trophy-friend.

Gosh! It's like I am constructing high rises without a foundation. I am sure GN will come and say "Nope, his mother is fine & thriving" 😆

It could be either or both 😁

There is no reason for Mayank to hate Nishit, I think. Unless ofcourse there's something that isn't revealed. For all he cares, Mayank must have been happy that he doesn't have to be tied in matrimony. He also seemed cool during Dadi's birthday party where Nishit was present too.

The way he came rushing back and his urgency to get married on the same day, after vehemently denying just minutes ago, gave me the impression that some external force made him change his decision. Hardiik may have either offered him a good role, money or he could have blackmailed him using some dirt he could have had against Mayank

He spoke condescendingly about that Agarwal..when Kirti was questioning why he married her. Was surprised ..unless it is just because Nishit is rich.🙄

Now that we know more about Ahilya past will be surprised she would want/approve marriage to a Ohja

Just need to be patient I guess for the next few updates

Both valid points! Mayank does seem to have some sort of grudge against that Aggarwal 😆 And it is indeed surprising that Ahilya would choose the crying Ojha kid over Nishit for her daughter. But then again, I am not sure what exactly does she feel for her daughter. She was even ready for Hardiik to propose marriage to her. Sometimes I feel she does worry for her kids and sometimes she gives the vibe she couldn't care less. Also, the day when Nishit had locked himself up in his apartment, Ahilya had said Kirti had a choice between the two. She could have chose to marry Nishit and stay next door to her, but she chose the opposite. So maybe it could be some twisted way of hers to lay the cards, but leave the final decision to Kirti.

She keeps her cards close to her chest. What she says loudly may be very different from what she thinks or does. (Like last encounter with drunk Nishit) .

We do need to own our decisions... especially life changing ones like marriage. Given the consequences it has on your life. For all you know it could be a hard lesson Ahilya learned herself.
