What he saw was that she was uncomfortable and embarrassed.. besides, the main mudda is that she was drunk..

@bold: Off topic, I love the reference you used. 🤣🤣

On topic, yes because none of them have come clean about their feelings to each other or to themselves. Also:CONSENT.

I think Pallavi will see through this if it happens, but her commitments and feelings about Mandaar might complicate things. I want to see what kind of a man Mandaar will be- will he be able to see through this? Overlook his father's past abuse? Know/care if he's being used as a pawn? What are his motivations going to be like? Does he get his conviction and morals from his mom, like Nikhil does? Or is he selfish and weak like his father?

First and foremost question is, is he actually alive? If he was alive all this time, toh tha kahaan? And what would be his motivations to return to D family after almost 3 years?

Mandaar is honestly such an enigma. The possibilities and the questions are endless, so I decided to stop speculating and just go along for the ride✌️

I know exactly what you mean. The Kohlapur send-off eve was running in my mind today. I know some things about that scene were a bit iffy- editing and pacing could have been a bit better. But from the perspective of an emotional hit, it really, really got to me, in a huge way, so from my very subjective point of view, it was perfect. We saw the physical desire on both ends, but it consumed Pallavi a lot more, because she doesn't really have anything else on her mind right now. She's in a happy, free space at the moment. For Raghav, it was there more in the background, but the things bearing down on his mind made it so much more peripheral, because boy's spiralling fast. In a way, it was paralleled in their drunkenness also- both were drunk, but Raghav had been drinking out of frustration and misery, and Pallavi was just having a fun night with a girlfriend.

For an episode that cracked me up so much at the beginning, I was not expecting to tear up the way I did at Raghav's confession. We spoke about him being a bit needy a couple of days back, he confessed to that neediness today. He also knows he's spiralling, and he's so scared she's going to misunderstand him or leave him.

Physical touch seems to really be Raghav's love language. He finds comfort in touch in a way we don't see him find comfort in anything else. That shot of how he just stayed in that awkward position by her bedside, but seemed unwilling to leave, it came across as very powerful.

Very nicely put Ashi. I would like to add something to that if you guys dont mind me butting in lol One of the reasons Raghav has not had a proper closure of all that has transpired between him and Pallavi because of the MU..is because in his mind he has not been able to do redeem himself in her eyes the way he had planned..in other words he fell short of his target and wasn't allowed to repay for his sinful actions the way he wanted.. He wanted to give back Pallavi everything he took away from her..and eventhough she says she doesnt wanna go back to her family..he probably thinks that the way things stand now between her and her family, is indirectly his doing and that fact is not gonna change..ever. Pallavi let him off the hook judging him purely based on his intentions and efforts.. That may have been more than enough for her but not him which is why she has been able to move on and not him.. and now on top of that he got to know that he is the one who is responsible for Mandhar's death.. which adds to his existing guilt and brings into perspective his dialogue from yesterday " mein tumhare zindagi mein sirf dukh dene aya hu"..

I know. But at the moment, it seems like our story won't move forward until we get more insights on him. At this point, I even speculate Raghav has indirectly 'saved' Pallavi by being involved with Mandaar's accident(kyunki its being mentioned k Raghav ruined her life, gave her the biggest wound etc etc so what if its actually the opposite). Mandar might not have been a good guy and Pallu's life in the D house would've been worse than it already was with Mandar in picture.

Also why is everyone teasing poor pallu on showing physical desires. 😕

She isn’t doing it on purpose in fact I don’t think she even realises she is doing it, the change in her gait and all when she saw Raghav looking at her, it wasn’t intentional.

Koi uske POV se socho she was a very young naive girl when she got married with no knowledge of her physical needs and before she could have a chance to understand them she got widowed and then everyone literally told her she can’t have a life now and though she ignored it but subconsciously she did kill all of her wants especially the physical ones which we saw when Raghav asked her what she wants for herself and she was unable to answer him.

Now suddenly this girl has been put next to a guy who is really hot and her husband to top it off so she is bound to have physical desires without realising because she has never known what they are.

Even the morning bathroom scene proved that she is unaware of physical desires for Raghav and is only beginning to scratch the surface which is evident by the way she blushing and behaving the way a teenage school girl does when she has a crush.

Why should anyone think Pallavi having physical desires for her husband is wrong ? She is young and recently married and she has never known any relationship with a man before. Raghav is the first man who she is literally sharing everything with and her gradual awareness of him is so original. Why should she hide away from her desires to fall in love with her husband.

The more we learn about them, the more of a contrast I'm able to draw with Vijay/Sharda. Jaya and Ajit really seem to have such a loving, supportive, nonjudgemental relationship. It also drives home the enormity of Jaya's loss- she lost her husband, yes, and that's immensely tragic all by itself. But she seems to have also lost her soulmate, her best friend, her confidante.

I adore the route they're taking with Jaya and Pallavi- I don't think it's a coincidence that she's sharing her and Ajit's ritual with Pallavi. Pallavi is truly becoming a friend and confidante for Jaya.

I was thinking back to the Maa vs Mummy Ji promo, and we spoke a few days back that Jaya doesn't have to be a mom to Pallavi for them to have a beautiful bond, and I think that's what we're seeing here. They're developing a kind of relationship that neither Pallavi shared with Sharda, not Jaya with Kirti. It's a lot more equal than a parent-child relationship, a friendship between two adult women.

I am getting more and more invested in learning what Ajit was like. The fact that Amma is letting out some information from time to time is so lovely. I wanted her side of the story too - she lost her love, her life partner. She wasn't being a heartless mother to Raghav. Yes, she made mistakes, but her emotions must have been a nightmare to deal with and she still has some of that trauma.

She must have been so lonely all these years, struggling with her grief and having to raise Keerti alone, I doubt she had anyone to talk to. The parallels with Sanki and Sharda are explicitly done, where Sharda's husband is alive but she is also quite lonely, especially with Pallavi now gone.

@bold It's as much about Maa vs. Mumm ji as it is about bahu vs. beti or even saheli. I see them as saheliyaan more than anything else. Pallavi needs it as does Amma.

Again, we got a glimpse of Raghav the husband who takes after his father. I've always felt Raghav picked up these great husband traits from his father and that's what we're seeing now too. Also, the more we learn about Naanna, the more it hurts to think how he was mistreated by people and then died tragically. When Amma talked about drinking with Raghav's father and then Raghav's overall chilled attitude about them drinking and having a good time... The parallels were so beautiful. I felt a pang thinking that Raghav's dad would have loved to be here, seeing his family like this. He would have adored Pallavi and treated her like a princess, unlike that Sanki. smiley7

CVs, please please please show us more of his father in flashbacks. I'm dying of curiosity.

I feel as if Amma and Naanna's relationship would be couple goals for Pallavi and Raghav. That kind of bond is not common.

Oops, I meant 'enigma' not 'engine' in my post. Ugh, autocorrect 🤦

Of course the story won't move forward without insight into him, but I don't really see the point of speculating when we have such little information, there's a world of possibilities, so I'm happy to let it play out, and enjoy what's served rather than guess and theorize.

I've never wanted a 'negative' Mandaar personally. I think Pallavi's choice holds a lot more weight if Mandaar is actually a viable partner rather than a straight-up villain, but either way, jo dikhayeinge ya nahi dikhayeinge is their headache, not ours na.

I completely agree with this.

He is goal-oriented and as far as he's concerned he failed to achieve that. He will always doubt that Pallavi let him off the hook for the goodness of her heart, kyunki woh aisi hi hai, which makes him feel even more unworthy. And now, as you said, he's realized that the 'debt' he owes her is far greater than he'd known back then.

He also felt like he was being weighed down by his past actions every time he wanted to move forward and just find some simple happiness with her/for her.

Maine finally episode dekh liya, abhi abhi!! Your recommendation was spot on, koi gussa dilaane waala scene nahi tha. SunKi bhi kaafi lowkey the aaj. Mujhe yehi waala Sunny toh dekhna pasand hai- manipulative kamina. Not the MCP, crass dialogues, slapping women waala human who forces me to skip episodes😡 Isko aise rehne dete toh kya problem thi? He could still have been the antagonist 😡

Amma toh stole the show today. She was so freaking cute!!! And I love how we keep getting tidbits of her relationship with her husband. God, they really had a lovely marriage na? It makes her loss all the more heartbreaking.

And humari ladki aaj poori Pikachu hi toh thi. "When Pallavi is here, have no tear"- what a good summary of her character. How can anyone cry with such a ball of sunshine in their lives? I love the relationship between these two so much! Right from the cute drunk bonding. Amma asking her to share if Kirti bothers her, and Amma has such a good outlook on life- if Kirti wants to make mistakes, let her fall. This is the exact right approach towards her. And last scene mein, when they were both taking the 'blame' for the night. Sach mein, yeh saas-bahu nahi, dost hain. I wonder if Amma had any kind of close confidante in the last decade? Nazar na lage in dono ko 🧿

Pallavi up on that window was also so damn cute. She thought she's a macchar, and the lizards will eat her 🤣 And even sober, this girl is having Pikachu moments- when Raghav said he called batman to bring her down, and woh ek second ke liye maan bhi gayi.

Raghav gets slight drunk cuteness points too, though he comes in a solid third after his two ladies today- he actually thought 'woh chala gaya' when Naidu and Archana pointed upwards, ghochu! And he agreed to her plan of jumping down, and him catching, matlab seriously 🤣 Bechara lekin, khud pi ke aaya tha, and yahaan do aur talli logon ko sambhalna pada. But for obvious reasons, his tolerance is much higher, so it didn't seem unrealistic. And awwww, his indulgent look at these two apologizing for getting drunk, and telling them he'll bartend for their next drinking and jamming plan. Hayye ❤️

good that you caught up Ashi. From the time I saw the episode, I was thinking i should tell you to watch. I really loved the episode today and the bedroom scene for me was beautifully done. His vulnerability in seeking her solace whenever he is down is a clear indication of what she means to him. My heart broke when he was pleading with her to understand him just this once. He knows it’s not going to be easy for her but he so wants it to happen so that he won’t lose her. Now this man finds his sleep only by holding on to her.
