Yup Sai actually went down in the caste ladder by marrying Virat Chavan.

Actually their marriage won't be accepted by Indian society as it's a Pratiloma vivah, though people does nowadays.

If Sai was Kshatriya and Virat Brahmin, then it would not have been a problem as she would have gone up.

Sai should not actually bow down to anyone of their house. Because they're of lower caste than her and aren't allowed to take her regards or give blessings

Bold- Are we really going to promote casteism & casteist hierarchy in 2021? Really. That’s a shame if one can’t come out of deeply entrenched casteist hierarchy in society. Lower caste? Really. How insensitive and tone deaf. Communities are still discriminated and excluded from mainstream society because of Caste, here we have casteist hierarchy propagated. Think before speaking on sensitive issues. It’s disgusting that caste hierarchy is promoted here saying she went up or below the ladder

That's a general fact and here lower caste means someone who's lower than her. Not exactly lower caste. Kshatriyas are royal. Even I am a Kshatriya by birth so definitely I don't intend to incite any casteism and demeans the Kshatriyas..

Baaki what do you think I don't care.

Lmao the ignorance. It’s not a fact. It’s an offense if you categorise and discriminate on casts. You need to learn history and social science. You did demean and enoforce caste hierarchy? Janti bhi hai yeh sab? Please go study first. You can actually get booked for calling someone low caste. It’s not about me caring. Ever heard of article 15 which says all citizens are equal irrespective of caste, creed, sex.

Reporting your post for caste discrimination and saying one should be discriminated against caste

We don’t live in ancient india. This is a republic where Varans holds no value in hierarchisation. All are equal. When will people learn this

That’s perfectly fine. But we don’t live according to Varans right. My comment is no way related to you. It was specific to the said person where she said Sai shouldn’t bow down to lower caste

Kyun Nahi janungi? Padhai Maine bhi ki hai. And I'm social science student so I knew what I said.

And why that statement is offensive? It's a fact! It won't change this. If it hurts someone's sentiment, then he/she can confront me. And if you're hurt, then I apologize to you. That doesn't mean you'll question on someone's IQ.

And about Article 15, I know about that. No one told anything about the lower caste specifically and I don't incite casteism!

Baaki, in India Varna system is still prevalent when you want to do arrange marriage.

Then u should know better than to enforce caste hierarchy in 2021 by saying Sai shouldn’t bow down because “she is from a superior cate”. That era is over. Nobody claims superiority with caste here. That’s why we have a constitution who abolished caste and caste based privileges. A social science student should know that.

It isn’t a fact fgs. How can saying one should act superior due to their cast be a fact? Can you hear yourself speaking this rubbish? It isn’t a fact. It’s different mentioning varans. But its caste hierarchy when you say one is superior merely because they were born in a particular caste that too in 2021. I didn’t question you IQ. I called you out on your caste bullshit.

Well you should apologise if you realise that you knowingly or unknowingly promoted caste hierarchy and superiority

You did when you say Sai shouldn’t bow down because she’s upper caste. What else is casteism?

Classification is prevalent not varana system. The constitution which guarantees equal rights is prevalent and supreme in India. SS student should know that

He is called Bhat ji , Neil surname is bhat 2 but he is a gujrati I dont know he is pandit or not , so I guess as Joshi in general comes under pandit clan so we r thinking sai is pandit coz of her surname but in reality she is not pandit ?

Sorry to intrude, but bhatt also stands for 'cook' haina. As in those who are meant to only cook in auspicious or religious occasions. They were also called 'bhatt' if I am not wrong.
