This is token is love for our show that we are posting about the show here on this forum. Since this forum is about discussing all the ITV shows , I thought about telling everyone why Shaurya And Anokhi ki Kahaani loves the show.
This post is not to offend anyone and I will request you all to kindly not bash any actor of the show.
Let us tell you all why we say it's a unique show!! It's a pretty long post, but pls give it a read.
The show is very very realistic. It has a strong storyline. And let me tell you, with 150 episodes in it's kitty already, the show still sticks to its storyline, it is still meaningful, it still doesn't drag the tracks like typical ITV shows. If we say this after 150 episodes, rest assured that there's something special about this show!
The show has a youth vibe, there is no K of kitchen politics. We don't see 2 ladies fighting for a man here.We don't see an evil saas torturing the bahu here. There is no negative character in this show, the characters are grey and add only as much spice to the show as is required to move the story forward. There is this feel good factor about this show, This is a positive show and surely anyone would want to have a stress-free entertainment in the days of pandemic!
The show has got one of the most melodious title tracks? You gotta listen to it! Jo tera hovega zaroor aaega, kinni bhi ho yaara chala door jaaega it says. The show gives us this hope in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE.
The characters of the show are very strong. A strong headed girl who dreams about persuing her career, believes in gender equality and doesn't know to bow down to anybody....yet there's no pseudo feminism here or hollow lectures about feminism here.
A man who is seen as misogynist but who is actually one of the biggest supporters of women empowerment. A mother, who had to choose her career over her family, yet yearning for her son's love. A man who couldn't fight for the rights of his wife and his son now wants to stand up for them.
Best Part , Ladies of the show who faced different kinds of domestic violence but have only emerged stronger. A second lead, who still cares for the female lead like a true friend even after his love being rejected by her. Where do you get such strong characters? Each and every, I mean it, every single character has a journey of its own in this show which is worth watching!
Shakhi - the couple! It's a never seen before kinda couple. A couple who's paths crossed when they were in utmost pain. A couple that started off on a wrong note. A couple that hugged just on the second day of their knowing eachother and didn't feel awkward, because it was just right in that situation (modern day thing, isn't it?).
A couple that had misunderstandings for a few days, but that didn't affect their prejudice about each other. A couple that got attracted towards each other for their strong personalities and intelligence, not for how caring n all they were with their loved ones. A couple that has been upfront since day one. A couple that didn't shy away or tried to hide their feelings. A couple that didn't need a Cupid. A couple that was always very comfortable in each other's physical proximity, just the way modern day couples are.
A couple that is smart enough to understand the plots against them. A couple that doesn't allow others to take decisions for them. A couple that knows how to question their wrong-doers and challenge the manipulators. A couple that loves each other crazily, yet know how to call out on the other for their mistakes.
A couple who can confess their love as simply yet dreamily as possible and a couple that knows to part ways on valid, practical reasons. A couple that can be sugar sweet in love and bitter as medicine when a reality check needs to be given to each other.
I couple that has guts to say I love you even while parting ways, because they part ways for practical reasons without blaming each other. A couple, that yet again comes back to each other in a day, because they don't know to give up on your love! A couple that relies on their family for its support, but can survive on their own as well.
A girl who doesn't want to give up on her career for her love and a man who wants to change his wrong thought process for his love, a girl who is willing to have both her love n career in her life, yet fails weak at times and a boy who teaches her to take a stand for her love, a boy who has abandonment issues and a girl who heals him with nothing but her fighting spirit for her people. A couple that has flaws and insecurities of their own, yet their biggest strength is they consider each other as equals in every way!
This couple is getting married now in their own unique style, in the grandeur of Punjabi household and in the least melodramatic way possible on ITV...and we are thrilled about it.

The Show is beautiful in its cinematography ( where do you find use of drone to shoot any sequence), that has one of the most realistic chemistry between the leads, that is so fast paced and unpredictable that each morning brings you a new surprise. The show is blessed with the most loving and generous leads who care about the fans and hence off-screen fun is unmatched ( We love them so much )
