Many middle class people too can be very open minded. I have generally seen Punjabis are open minded, especially Khatris . I think it’s more cultural or even caste based than the amount of money you have…

I’m a punjabi too. I know the ones who orthodox woh bahu se saara time roti hi banwate rehte hain. 😆

not that kind of orthodox, like not going out with guy friends after a certain time or last phone call with a guy friend should not be after 11 pm.. like that

Yeah that's true, maybe it's got more to do with the community and whether people are willing to welcome opposing views or not. I've also seen that in some rich families--their wealth in fact makes it harder for them to accept that some of their beliefs could be problematic😆
