Also, it is mostly the FLs achhai that forces the ML to mellow and transition from the angry, douche guy to her knight in shining armour. Not because he himself has any realization of how wrongly he has treated her.. That's why I am glad thay they were no where close to being being attracted to the point of falling in love or anything before things got msessed up. Otherwise, we would have seen rekindling of those suppressed feelings and bematlab ka sexual tension instead of a much needed redemption for Raghav first before anything happens.

So agree with this. Also I felt his decision to mellow down, didn't just come from just guilt or liking or admiration or sense of responsibility, but also his own willingness to change, not for her, but in general too. People say he did that for her. He did that for himself too. He needed that. To prove a point, to be free of guilt, to have a chance at a normal family.. And that's why he was more desperate. He poses as a villain, but actually he wants to be a hero. 😆 He knew he had this once in a lifetime opportunity, where if he amends his wrongs it could bring much needed relief and happiness in his life, and he chose that willingly in full hosho-havaas. It was a conscious decision as much as it was instinctive. Attraction ka toh A bhi nahin tha, it was just sincerity, emotions and desperate need to do something right. Emotional attraction bol sakte ho.

Btw today felt like first part of Pallu's "tedha hai par mera hai" journey...

I always wanted that kind of declaration. Aaj uska part one tha.

Also, the playing out of conflict. I remember wondering how Pallavi, Raghav and others are going to choose between things like your own self, relationship with family and then your partner. VD being so wrong made that choice so easy though for Pallu.

Raghav chose his promise to Pallavi over his own self respect. He was ready to bend. This is ultimate level bull headed sincerity to a purpose. And how majestic he was looking while making that choice.

Pallavi chose her ties with Raghav over Deshmukhs. In order to stop Raghav from going further in destroying his self respect, she had to break that relationship. It could have been any other point, but this was the last straw.

VD chose his eccentricity and biased beliefs as always.. basically himself over any relationship.

She would be disgusted by VD and would have stopped him, in any situation, I agree. What I mean is her extra protectiveness and emphasis on her relationship with Raghav.. This is after she got to know his past and could connect with him on a much deeper level, plus she felt the need to make him feel secure about his own self as well as the relationship. Because she knows why he was doing it...

Actions and reactions and actions and reactions.. He does something, she feels something, she does something and he feels more and does something again and it keeps on escalating.. 😆😆

Offcourse, it was the right thing to do, but the way it was done had to be a mixture of righteousness + protectiveness + her own frustration. Which emotion was dominating, it's upto us to interpret. The protectiveness was the demand of the hour I feel. Righteousness came second, and then her own frustration.

When VD came back to take her, it was righteousness. When she went there to prove Raghav's innocence, it was again righteousness + a bit of protectiveness. And now all of that plus she was frustrated too.

However, here she had the chance to say, Raghav why are you doing this? Maafi kisi galat kaam ke liye maangi jaati hai, jab maine kuchh galat kiya hi nahin hai toh kyun maang rahe ho maafi mere liye...

Anyways she did manage to strike some major points across, so not bad at all. .. 👏

Trueee, more and more emotions are getting involved, and it's only confusing things.

@red- iss din ka toh bohot besabri se intezaar hai. But, she made tremendous steps in the right direction today 🥳

I've been meaning to watch it for a while now! It's just that the sheer number of episodes is kind of overwhelming 😅

Watch it when you are ready to get overwhelmed by emotions as well, not just sheer number of episodes. Their dilemmas still haunt me sometimes...🤣

Those three words can be said in many different ways or shown in many different ways, without actually saying it, so yes it will be very weak in comparison now.

Also these two have their own unique way of doing things so may end up never saying it!

@bold that would be a first for ITV.

@all: enjoyed reading the discussions..

Actually before the drunken confession pallavi was like i dont understand you.. what are you types.. with the mirchi incident where i thought she was pulled towards him and her heart unknowingly wanting to explore where this is all leading to..

But since his drunken shower confession, i quite see pallavi is really in just a protective mama bear mode for raghav who she believes is the oh poor lonely misunderstood guy for now. She keeps standing up for raghav against her family, his family providing raghav the solace that he is not akela. Even the priority comment is in alignment with the same since he cribbed and also her explicitly stating that she chose him over her family. I dont think pallavi feels anything more than this. Its almost feels like sympathy to me especially given pallavi’s nature. I find it unfair that pallavi has to make something out of this marriage, fall in love and realize just bacause of this . It has to be some pull that she feels which is beyond this misunderstood guy image. Ofcourse, slow burn works for me but i hope this is not it for her..

And in that sense, i find raghav is in an altogether different plane with respect to pallavi. Yes, he is all over the place but its just perfectly fine for now. But he was like ‘ main hoon na tumhare liye forver types’ whatever was going on in his mind/heart there, he was always on a different confusing tangent with this marriage even before marriage !!

The point is i do think raghav should probably get out of this lost n lonely mode, atleast not with pallavi. I feel its much more damaging to him since he might start misunderstanding her feelings and in turn put unwarranted pressure on pallavi in the long run..

I know, it's unfortunate that ITV will not accept the dissolution of a marriage due to something like this. If a couple separates, it has to be due to some external majboori. Shame, because I genuinely feel it would be good for their marriage to not carry the burden of their wedding.

I wish we heard her outburst too. Don't love that they took the Tum Hi Ho route with it today.

I don't know, I don't think her outburst today was driven by his story. Her pain certainly was, the situation made.her ache so much more because of the context she was aware of. But I can't imagine any version of Pallavi- be it episode 1 or episode 105, or any episode in between, who'd find Vijay's stunts today acceptable. We've also seen her hurt towards him build and build- but being outraged on behalf of someone else was an easier conduit for all that than being outraged on behalf of herself. So this unacceptable stunt, on top of all that's been getting pent up, I feel this situation would have played out the same way even if she didn't know Raghav's past. She pulled him out of the house, and explicitly asked him to respect himself, even before the revelation. Pallavi is driven by her sense of righteousness above all, and will only accept injustice when she's the victim 😆 Baaki puri duniya ke liye jang ke maidaan mein utarne ko taiyaar rehti hai.

And that's why Sharda wasn't in the scene either- she wouldn't have stood for this, ever. Neither does she have Sulochana's sadism, nor Milind's mild manner- her recent silence has been for the sake of Vijay's health, but she'd have drawn a firm line today, much like the day she took off her mangalsutra.

But Raghav, I think, is interpreting this as her pity/obligation/generosity in response to his loneliness, so he's trying to set her free.

@bold- agree 100%.

It's interesting that he didn't give her divorce papers, just the train tickets. Is it because he can't bring himself to after what she said, or because he wants to let her go far away and then think about what she wants?

If not divorce, I think a temporary 'time apart' would help them think about the other person and give them a chance to see if they miss each other or not, and want to have the other person in their everyday life without compulsion.

Her outburst today was because she'd reached the limits of her patience. It had been building up for a while but she kept the lid on it for so long that this was bound to happen. I watched the episode again a couple of times today. Her sense of righteousness did indeed play a huge part but while she announced herself as Pallavi Raghav Rao, she also had an air of possessiveness about her in the way she led him out and held his hand. It was subtle but there, she marked him as her own. I don't know if she realized it or not but Raghav felt it too, even though he may not have been able to put a finger on it. Someone finally considers him their apna.

Yaar Sai was so good in the teary-eyed scene. I hope the outburst will continue and that we get him thinking about it with a glass in hand at night, wondering what prompted her to do all this, whether it was a sense of obligation indeed that makes her feel bound to him. Do you think he told Amma that he's about to send her away?

I hope the BTS we have of Sharda and Pallavi them talking about this whole matter and Sharda advising her to move on with Raghav as he's the right one for her. She must have heard from Milind what had happened, and I agree she would have never let Sanki go this far.
