Reason for Shaurya hiding their social marriage plan from Anokhi - Page 3

Honestly I am enjoying the Shaurya vs Sabharwals scene more than the Shakhi scenes.

Right from the start of the show, it is Anokhi who has suffered most not only for her own decisions but also those made by others. Shuarya being a man and a rich one at that has got away with almost everything. Still we should not criticize Shaurya. He has his heart in the right place and is doing everything to make Anokhi understand her mistakes. It is true Anokhi is sorry for her mistakes and apologized as well but that doesn't mean she has realised how wrong she was. She needs to go through the pain of losing Shaurya to his ex and only then can she understand the gravity of her mistake. She will have to learn to fight for her rights by losing the right to plan her own wedding. We stupid girls spend months planning for that special day but Anokhi is lucky in that all of it will be done by her loving second time husband.

The parallels are interesting here. Shaurya threw sindoor on Anokhi because he didn't want to lose her. His abandonment issues came on the surface and he married her to make her his own. Anokhi shouted on him at first but gave him time to fix the things. She even understood his problem with his mother and didn't push him any further to save him from more pain. Similarly, Anokhi sacrificed her love for Shaurya because she didn't want him to lose his family and position. Shaurya shouted at her and pushed her away but did not give her the time to fix things. Shaurya understood her dilemma and yet he went ahead to plan a second wedding to give her some more pain. So if Shaurya is doing everything here then how will Anokhi learn to fight?

Shaan was already hopeless. Aastha and Babli have flipped beyond recognition. Now it is a one man show. He is after all a stereotype breaking never before seen ML on TV. Soch ki takkar you say? Well that is not even allowed on the forum how can it happen on the show. I am hesitant to even share my views on any topic lest any criticism be taken as negativity and toxicity.

I didn't come to forum for 3 days just to ensure I can manage staying away from discussing crappy episodes being enjoyed by people... Because hey... Anokhi was wrong...

Also note that if criticising every episode is wrong (which I don't think is always the case) praising every episode isn't even mark of greatness/positivity. It's unhealthy!

There is absolutely no parallels atleast in my opinion ... Shaurya has made hell lot of follies in this journey of their... And so has Anokhi... But for every mistake Anokhi has made.. She was made to go through hell in order to 'achieve' Shaurya's acceptance... Be it on the confession night when she said something stupid along lines of revenge or be it trying to not tell him the reason..

I am sad that the show is totally focused on constantly highlighting Shaurya's abandonment issues and constantly.... Literally constantly blame everything on that for his every action is not cool!

@Bold + Italics - Do makers remember this? That they are supposed to highlight and apparently show ideal path of overcoming such biases..

I had been waiting for someone to say this after Monday's episode and was almost beginning to think that maybe I was the only one who was thinking along these lines.

Tbh, I do think what Anokhi did was wrong. When that first precap of Tej's offer was shown, I had said I wouldnt like Anokhi to go this route and I stand my ground. For all her selfless reasons, she does not get to call the shots on this relationship on her own (yes, I remember the sindoor fiasco and am keeping that aside for now). Ideally, she should have spoken about this to Shaurya but.. ITV. Communication skills are zero. This is a trope that while wrong still manages to tug at the audience emotions. Anyway, I actually have no qualms with Shaurya being pissed at Anokhi. He has the right to be mad at her for not 'standing up for their love' which ironically was a concern everyone had for Shaurya initially. Right through until he said he can't be with someone like this. All fair. On a side note, I generally have so far loved how their 'breakup' scenes are approached. Also appreciation where due of the truth not being dragged out and Shaurya's confrontation with the Sabherwals (one thing I will always love about this show)

My problem begins with Shaurya's reasoning on this marriage. His rejection already has her regretting her actions and realizing she was wrong. She is in pain, wants him back, fix this and he can see it. So what exactly is this fake marriage supposed to teach her? There really is no logic here because technically his goals are already achieved. The only thing I can come up with is - Drama. The makers want a typical TV drama to lead up to the social wedding. There really is no way how else this makes sense. Even the dialogues werent convincingly put enough. Double whammy is everyone agreeing to this. Like WHAT? Babli surprised me most.. and Ahir.

From a ShaKhi point of view, I can kind of understand why this works as such. Especially for the general fans. And because I adore watching DebVir and ShaKhi together on screen and am invested in them, I still root for these two and always will. But imo, this could have been a perfect opportunity to balance out the sindoor wedding. He could have admitted what he did there was wrong and this time do about it the right way - propose to her properly, get her consent and do a proper wedding with all the rituals. One way to try and redeem.

Another bummer was the way Mr. Bhalla's track was dealt with so quickly. I was probably even more disappointed about this lost potential. But oh well, that is a completely different thing.

The issue is that none of them understand each other at all! And blame is always that Anokhi does not understand Shaurya..

Had Shaurya really understood Anokhi, he wouldn't have believed anything she said about break up to begin with.. He did believe it to an extent and announced to the family that they are separated..? Till he saw what happened very next day...

😆I would have been not in favour of Anokhi had Anokhi believed anyone else saying.. Shaurya is marrying Shagun.. But here Shaurya is himself saying it.. What more confirmation is required?

But lol... Again why should Anokhi trust Shaurya after everything that he has done and said.. 😆 woh sindoor gaya tel lene... No one cares about it in the show...

I don't understand this 'teaching her a lesson'.what crime has she committed that she will have to go through all this pain ?? And what is the lesson she will learn , that her husband can be cruel and ignorant to her if she make some wrong decisions.

I wish anokhi also play some prank , get shaurya and gang really tensed , like she is missing or something and later come out ??I like angsty shaurya more than angsty anokhi😂😗.

Since this is an indian tv drama , and trp is less iam sure they will make this wedding also a forcefull one(current trend).Also after marriage they will hate each other , as indian tv cannot accept leads being happily married from the first.😂😂

I think she fought till certain extent. She gave back to Tej for quite some time. She made it clear she is not here to bargain. But Tej is very cunning person. He trapped her emotionally.

She accepted the marriage and as you said also understood his problem with his mother. But the way Shaurya is now behaving with her is beyond my understanding. And the rest of 'team Shaurya' supporting him in this. Are they thinking that it would be a sweet surprise for Anokhi to suddenly know that it is her marraige that she is attending.

In today's world which girl will like to have a marriage where she didn't have any say. Others are deciding for her. As per her character she shouldn't be happy with it.

He deserves it 🤣 There's no tandav w Shaurya tho, he'll go straight to grabbing, pulling, holding and more 😉 I love how Anokhi turned away to control her emotions and turned back around w a bad bi**h look attitude in today's episode. I want that attitude when she wipes her sindoor off.

My gut says the makers won't show Anokhi being happy about this. In Mohor, Mohor hits Shankha and fights w him playfully when she finds out. I don't see the same in this case. Anokhi will kill him dead, we already saw her grabbing his collar today lol
