The only person to be blamed for all this mess is Pakhi who started the entire drama just to belittle Sai. Now Virat, Sai, Pakhi all will get humiliated.

I agree it was Pakhi who started the conversation but it was both Sai and Pakhi who dragged Virat into this mess.

I have few questions . Please take it as a discussion rather than a argument

1. Is it fair just to get even with each other Sakhi dragging him and giving him no choice in this matter ?

2. Just because his family was involved in this mess , we should not sympathize if his past is brought out without his consent

3. Is this clear case of victim blaming where Pakhi harassed him in the night and his wife without knowing anything jumped to the conclusion that her husband spent the night with his SIL( her exact dialogue where he says so he was with Pakhi in the night ) . Is it acceptable because he is a male

4. Is Sai’s honour more important than Virat’s ?

When Sai speaks about Virat-pp she is doing so in pain, as a reaction to public humiliation meted out to her by pp despite her minding her own business. She is cognizant of her own embarrassment and humiliation too as she raises this topic but she does it because she is instigated and so she just wants to put a full stop to the matter. She is giving virat and pp a chance to either accept things and move on with each other, accept things but let go of each other or deny things and let go of each other. Its high time that such a choice was made. There cant be any middle ground. If virat doesn't want to involve his family in all this he should prevented his bff/vahini from instigating his wife repeatedly in the past. He should have never given leverage to pp to interfere in his personal matters. But unfortunately by the time he woke up to her intentions, and told her to stay out n told her to stay in her limit -its too late because Pp has crossed all limits of decency. So now he is trapped. Whenever Sai raises Virat-pp it has been provoked - she has not done so maliciously with the intention of washing dirty linen in public, also she never questions Virat's intentions, only pp's because she does trust him and knows he has not deliberately crossed any lines but she does want to know if he is only being held back by "maryaada" or "zimmedari" or if he has genuinely moved on.

1. Is it fair when to get even with each other they are dragging him and giving him no choice in this matter ?

He is getting dragged because of his past connection with Pakhi. He should have cleared everything with Sai when she witnessed his confrontation with Pakhi. Instead he kept avoiding the actual matter and things got blown out of proportion thanks to his bff. Pakhi has been humiliating Sai for long because of Virat's connection with her. So it is only natural that when Sai will retaliate, Virat is inevitably going to get dragged into the mess.

2. Just because his family was involved in this mess , we should not sympathize if his past is brought out without his consent

His past is connected to Pakhi's. And Pakhi has been misusing that past for long to taunt Sai. It was only recently that Virat cleared it with her that they should move on from their past. Yes, it is sad thing that Virat's past (that too a sensitive matter) is being made into family discussion. No one deserves that. But blaming Sai for it is not right.

3. Is this clear case of victim blaming where Pakhi harassed him in the night and his wife without knowing anything jumped to the conclusion that her husband spent the night with his SIL( her exact dialogue where he says so he was with Pakhi in the night ) . Is it acceptable because he is a male

Yes, Sai shouldn't have assumed things. But Pakhi's words were last straw to her patience. She has been reeling with a multitude of emotions and on top of that, her husband refused to give her a straight answer. And Pakhi was simply adding petrol to that fire.

Pakhi harassing Virat is another topic altogether. I have mentioned it earlier too that Pakhi crossing the limits and intruding into Virat's private space is completely wrong. But Sai is not completely wrong. She has no idea that Virat is the victim or that he is being harassed by Pakhi. Time and again she has witnessed how comfortable her husband and Pakhi are with each other. So it is only natural for her to assume things.

4. Is Sai’s honour more important than Virat’s ?

Both their honors are important. But Virat has an advantage over Sai, it is his family. He won't be facing much heat for his actions. So tomorrow if he discloses the entire truth, his family is not going to humiliate him. Sai, on the other, will get humiliated and called all sorts of names, if Virat lies about his past with Pakhi. So, as a husband, he has a responsibility to protect his wife from his family's wrath, especially since she was telling the truth (except the present relationship part. But he could clear that too. He can say very clearly that he has no interest whatsoever in Pakhi anymore).

I have a question too.. how exactly should Sai have dealt with this matter without bringing in Virat's past, since Pakhi has already started the mudslinging?

Yes he should have cleared as his feelings are changed but that’s a different topic . It’s not like he hid everything from her , he had clearly told her before marriage and he should convey his changed feelings but since they are in deal marriage and since Sai wants to leave the home why is he obligated to clear .Just because he didn’t doesn’t mean his past has to be brought out in public and shamed him .

2. Just because his family was involved in this mess , we should not sympathize if his past is brought out without his consent

It was Sai who brought it out in public and provocation cannot be a reason to character shame someone .it like breaking the trust between husband and wife when you discuss his past infront of all .

Let’s do a role reversal . If Sai was being harassed by someone and if Virat had suspected her instead would we have justified Virat’s behavior?

Hasn’t Said witnessed how Virat was harassed in the hospital by Pakhi ? Has she not witnessed how uncomfortable he was with Pakhi’s presence ?

4. Is Sai’s honour more important than Virat’s ?

As a person , he has the rights to decide if he wants to share his past with his family members . Just because they ate his family doesnt mean it won’t be awkward for him . Haven’t we seen how Sonali and Karishma taunt him . It was Sai who crossed her limits and brought out the past . It her responsibility to face the consequences . She needs to learn that creating tamasha every single time is not the solution to the problems .

Since you asked me how I wanted Sai to deal with this . If I were her , I would have called Virat and asked him to clarify about the sleeping arrangements infront of all . I would have confronted his family and friend as to how they can cross their line and interfere in her married life . I am sure Virat would have supported her but by dragging his past and questioning his character after she messed it up
