If sai was chosen by d family then she would had not been humiliated.

Thats the thing though. Pp only has support of BK because they hate Sai but if Sai didn't exist, Virat would eventually have been forced to marry by BK. Let me guess, I will assume its a different girl and not Sai coz I don't want it to be Virat vs Sai post.

If it was an arranged marriage where Kaku selected the bride, no matter how much bff Virat scream to protect Pakhi, Kaku would have thrown Pakhi if she even attempted anything. Pakhi would not have been chaheeti bahu and she would have left on her own after his marriage and not stayed back for Virat.

If by any chance, Virat has a love marriage,

1. Girl not rich/ same caste, family against Virat, Pakhi would have done the same that she is doing to Sai. At the point, the girl might have left the marriage and gone back to her parents or her parents would have come to CN to question the family's behavior. Mostly it would have ended with either Pakhi forced to not interfere or they take back the girl with them, depending on Virat's behavior at the point in time.

Maybe they might speak to Virat separately and suggest him to take a transfer and move to a different city?

2. Girl was from equal 96shanukuli khandan and rich and family accepted the marriage, same as arranged marriage situation.

Girl will know she has a place to go when things go south, where she will still be loved and cared for. Yes, she would have been heartbroken if it didn't work out, but she would have been guided by her parents.

Irrespective of any 3 scenario I listed, having parents make a lot of difference, confidence you have that someone has your back no matter what, unconditional love even if you made a mistake of marrying wrong person and support & help to get over the pain.
